FKIP – Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University Surakarta (UNS) Surakarta conducts initial discussions on the preparation of the Planning Roadmap Development of Digital Economy Governance in the Tourism and Creative Economy Sector as well as the Signing of Cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf) in Meeting Room I Building A FKIP UNS on Friday (11/02/2022).
The Dean of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) UNS Dr. Mardiyana, M.Sc., in his remarks welcomed all guests from the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf).
“We welcome the Director and all staff from the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf) at the Teacher Training and Education Faculty (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University Surakarta (UNS) Surakarta,” said Dr. Mardiyana.
Next Dr. Mardiyana explained that the location of FKIP UNS is at the back of Sebelas Maret University and right next to the Pancasila Pioneer Fort, Sebelas Maret University, where there is also a center of worship for all religious people starting from mosques, churches, temples, temples, and pagodas which are located in one complex as a reflection of the diversity and harmony of religious communities. It is also related that FKIP UNS is the faculty that has the most number of study programs, consisting of 24 Undergraduate Education Programs, 17 Masters Education Programs, 5 Doctoral Education Programs, and 1 Teacher Profession Program.
At the end of the opportunity, Dr. Mardiyana also said that this collaboration was very appropriate and by the theme of the 46th UNS Anniversary which will be held in March, namely Internationalization and Development of UNS Innovation Based on Digital Technology Towards Creative Economy Awakening. This Anniversary event will also hold creative economy exhibitions from all faculties at UNS. So it is hoped that this collaboration can be carried out well through various forms of activities, can support creative economy programs, and can provide benefits for FKIP UNS, UNS, Kemenparekraf, and the general public.
Director of Digital Economy Governance of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf) Selliane Halia Ishak, S.Kom., M.Sc., in her speech, said that based on the functions of the digital economy governance sector, they have the task of formulation, implementation of technical activities, supervision/monitoring, analysis and evaluation in the field of digital economy governance in the tourism sector and the creative economy. The objectives of this collaboration include developing digital economic governance for the tourism and creative economy sectors, helping to provide reference materials for the preparation of journals according to publications, recommendations for digital transformation roadmaps for the tourism and creative economy sectors, and providing development of digital transformation roadmaps for the tourism and economic sectors. creative, as well as helping to provide data and information that is used as a reference for the results of the digital transformation roadmap of the tourism sector and the creative economy.
Furthermore, Director Selliane Halia Ishak, S.Kom., M.Sc., advised that the results of the collaboration on the digital transformation roadmap for the tourism sector and the creative economy should not only be written but must be carried out, implemented, realized, and utilized.
At the end of his remarks, Selliane Halia Ishak, S.Kom., M.Sc., hoped that this form of collaboration could bring benefits to the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, FKIP UNS, and everyone.
