FKIP – The Student Group of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta who are members of the K-TEAM: Kombucha Entrepreneurship Team won the Best Entrepreneur Program category. This achievement was announced through the YouTube channel of the FKIP UNS Achievement Center on Monday (2/5/2022).

This group consists of Zamzami Nursalsabila (Science Education), Arinta Sekar Raihana (Science Education), Annas Khoirum Ummah (Science Education), Kika Ladinma Chojo (Science Education), Aisyah Nurul Izzah (Economics Education), and Ayu Kurnia Saputri (Economic Education).

They carry the Ecofit-K product: Fermented Tea Innovation With Various Flavors (Original, Apple, and Lychee). In this case, tea fermentation is carried out using a mutualism symbiosis between yeast and bacteria called SCOBY.

Met by the team, Zamzami or often called Zami expressed the impression of getting the best entrepreneurial achievements.

“Alhamdulillah, we are happy and did not expect our video to be in this category, because in our opinion there are still shortcomings in the video. We also thank those who have given us this category,” said Zami on Monday (16/5/2022).

Furthermore, Zami said that the reason behind him and his team participating in this competition was the motivation of the Head of the Science Education Study Program, Dr. paed. Nurma Yunita Indriyanti, M.Sc., MSc.

“The reason for participating in the competition is the encouragement from the Head of the Science Education Study Program, Mrs. Nurma, and the support from the supervisor, Mrs. Februani Sarwendah. We collected materials from the documentation of the program that we carried out in 2021 and took videos when the product took part in the Exhibition at the Solo Technopark in the context of the UNS Anniversary,” said Zami.

In the end, Zami conveyed his hopes for the achievements that have been achieved.

“Hopefully, some of our products will sustainably continue their production,” concluded Zami.

Not to forget, Zami conveyed an invitation not to be afraid to try everything.

“When we try, there is never anything wrong whether it succeeds or fails. All trials are part of the process, while success is how we respond to the results,” said Zami.
