FKIP – Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program (PBSI) Teacher Training and Education Faculty (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta received a visit from Indonesian Language Education Study Program (PBI) PGRI University Lampung (UPGRIP) on Wednesday (15/6/2022). The visit was held offline in the Hall of Building F, 3rd Floor, FKIP UNS.

On that occasion, Dr. Darwin Efendi, M.Pd. as a representative of UPGRIP delivered the foreword. He said that the purpose of the visit was as a means to gain knowledge at the PBSI FKIP UNS Study Program.

“Our agenda for studying at the PBSI FKIP UNS Study Program is included in the field lecture program. Yesterday we went to Jogja and now to UNS. We hope that we can gain and bring home knowledge to be applied in our study programs,” said Dr. Darwin.

The visit was welcomed by the Dean of FKIP UNS who on this occasion was represented by Prof. Slamet Subiyantoro, M.Sc. as Deputy Dean for Academic, Research, and Student Affairs FKIP UNS.

“I represent the Dean of FKIP UNS, who currently has another agenda, to welcome the group from the PBI Study Program at the University of PGRI Palembang. Hopefully, there will be a lot of knowledge that can be taken from this visit and public lecture,” said Prof. good luck.

Next, Prof. Slamet also introduced the PBSI FKIP UNS Study Program, ranging from lecturers, facilities and infrastructure, to the achievements that have been achieved. In addition, Prof. Slamet also explained about the achievements of FKIP UNS and the position of FKIP and UNS on the national and even international level.

“The PBSI Study Program at UNS is complete, starting from S-1, S-2, S-3, all of which are in FKIP UNS,” said Prof. good luck.

The Head of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program, Dr. Budhi Setiawan, M.Pd., also welcomed the arrival of PBI UPGRIP. He shared about the track record of the PBSI FKIP UNS Study Program until it was declared internationally accredited by FIBAA.

“Please allow me to say that our study program has had the opportunity to get four A accreditations, so that this year we can apply for FIBAA accreditation. Alhamdulillah, our study program passed and was declared internationally accredited by FIBAA,” explained Dr. Buddha.

Dr. Budhi also shared about the profile of the PBSI FKIP UNS study program and the profile of the teaching lecturers at PBSI FKIP UNS.
