FKIP – Tuesday (17/10/2023), the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta agreed to collaborate with the Education Financing Service Center (Puslapdik) of the Secretariat General of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbud Ristek) through the signing of a cooperation agreement containing the distribution of operational costs for the Affirmation of Secondary Education (ADEM) assistance for the implementation of evaluation and improvement of service quality for the ADEM (Affirmation of Secondary Education) Program for the Papua Region, Special Regions and Repatriation in 2023. The signing was carried out in the Building Hall G FKIP UNS.

The Collaboration Agreement was signed by the Dean of FKIP UNS, Prof. Mardiyana, M.Sc., and Commitment Making Officer for the Puslapdik Education Affirmation Working Group, Secretary General of the Ministry of Education and Culture, Research and Technology, Dwi Setia Permana. The signing was also witnessed by the Deputy Dean for Planning, Business Cooperation and Information, FKIP UNS, Prof. Dr. Triyanto, S.H., M.Hum. and Coordinator of the UNS Cooperation, Development and Internationalization Section, Prof. Dr. Ir. Mohamad Harisudin, M.Sc.

Apart from signing this collaboration, FKIP UNS and Puslapdik Kemendikbud Ristek also carried out 3 collaborations in the field of research. The first collaboration in the field of research is entitled “Cost Structure Analysis (CSA) Design Through Profiling Repatriated ADEM Students to Determine Unit Prices for ADEM Scholarships at High School/Vocational School Level”. This research was led by Dr. Salman Alfarisy Totalia, S.Pd., M.Sc. as Lecturer in the Economic Education Study Program (Prodi) FKIP UNS.

Then, collaboration in the second research field entitled “Model of Financing and Services for the ADEM Special Regional Scholarship Program in the Context of Expanding Access to Education” which was chaired by Prof. Dr. Sarwanto, M.Sc. He is a Professor from the Physics Education Study Program at FKIP UNS.

Meanwhile, the collaboration in the second research field is entitled “Evaluation of Financing and Services for the ADEM Papua Scholarship Program in Supporting Freedom of Learning”. Dr. Imam Sujadi, M.Sc. led the research. He is a lecturer in the Mathematics Education Study Program at FKIP UNS.

The output of this collaboration is to produce research results in the form of an evaluation of the implementation of ADEM Papua, Special Regions, and Repatriation to be used as a basis for policy-making, especially in fulfilling the fundamental rights of every Indonesian citizen in obtaining equitable, quality and relevant education. The ADEM program also aims to make the 12 year Universal Secondary Education (PMU) a success. Therefore, it is hoped that the results of this research will contribute to improving educational services in Indonesia, especially educational affirmation.
