FKIP – Academic, Research, and Student Affairs Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta held socialization of the Permata Forkom Programme for 5th semester students on Thursday (29/7/2021) online via the Zoom Meeting application.
The socialization activity was filled by three speakers, namely Prof. Dr. Slamet Subiyantoro, M.Sc., Mila Purani Sistiyan, S.E., M.M., and Yosafat Christiantono, S.Kom. This event was delivered in the form of material presentation and discussion. The activity was opened with the presentation of the Permata Forkom guide by the Deputy Dean for Academic, Research, and Student Affairs FKIP UNS, Prof. Dr. Slamet Subiyantoro, M.Si. He explained that Forkom as the central committee offered the Permata Forkom program to faculty leaders who were members of Forkom as part of the Merdeka Belajar – Kampus Merdeka (MBKM), namely the Student Exchange Program.
“The Forkom in this case as the central committee offers the Permata Forkom program to faculty leaders who are members of the Forkom. The learning system in the Permata Forkom program is carried out by Distance Learning (PJJ) or online and carried out in the odd semester of 2021-2022,” explained Prof. Subiyantoro.
Furthermore, the presentation was continued by Mila Purani Sistiyan, S.E., as the Academic Sub Coordinator of FKIP UNS. Mila guides the socialization participants regarding technical account creation and lecture applications using the Permata Forkom website.
“Registration will be closed today. Please register by filling in the link to create an account. After that, please create an account via the website https://mbkmfkipnegeri.id/ and follow the steps,” explained Mila.
Yosafat Christiantono, S. Kom. as Education Personnel of FKIP UNS added that students must register using an active account because later there will be an electronic mail for activation. He also added that if the courses taken exceed the quota, a variety of universities will apply and will be chosen the fastest. Therefore, it was expected that students who want to register should do it immediately.
The socialization activity ended with a closing statement from Prof. Dr. Slamet Subiyantoro, M.Si. He emphasized that the Permata Forkom Program is one way in which students are given the opportunity to study according to their respective plans. The assumption is, if they have evidence of experience outside of their field, namely in the world of the education industry, then it is considered tested. Therefore, students were expected to immediately take this opportunity.
