FKIP – Sector of Human Resources (HR), Finance, and Logistics, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta held a webinar with the theme “Successful Tips for Proposed Professor Functional Positions” through the Zoom Meeting application on Wednesday (28/7/2021).
Attended by 130 participants, the webinar was opened with remarks from the Dean of FKIP UNS, Dr. Mardiyana, M.Si. This event was moderated by Dr. Dewi Kusumawardani, M.Sc. as Deputy Dean II for HR, Finance, and Logistics. Meanwhile, the two speakers who attended were Prof. Dr. Sucihatiningsih Dian Wisika Prajanti, M.Sc. as a team from the Central Credit Score (PAK) and Prof. Dr. Triyanto, S.H., M. Hum. as Professor of Citizenship Education FKIP UNS.

The first speaker, Prof. Dr. Sucihatiningsih Dian Wisika Prajanti, M.Sc. discussed the material with the theme “Pain Completely Successful Tips for Proposed Professor Functional Positions” started with the construction of the Operational Guidelines for Credit Score Assessment (PO/PAK) and explained the differences between 2014/2015 PO/PAK and the 2019 PO/PAK and their revisions.
“There will be improvements from PO/PAK 2014/2015 to PO/PAK 2019 plus revisions where PO/PAK 2019 plus many revisions adopting Merdeka Belajar – Kampus Merdeka. The proportion of assessments is almost the same, only in the 2019 PO/PAK plus a revision to adopt the Merdeka Belajar – Kampus Merdeka system, ” she said.
In addition, Prof. Suci also conveyed other material, namely the mechanism for proposing lecturers at the ministry, parties involved in the credit score assessment process and the duties of its main functions, and important documents needed.

The second speaker, Prof. Dr. Triyanto, S.H. M. Hum. explained the material entitled “Lesson Learned Professorship Promotion” which was delivered based on personal experience when undergoing the process of promotion to become Professor of Citizenship Education at FKIP UNS.
“Each proposer has a different experience in terms of time, obstacles, difficulties, and others. The requirements for promotion to professorship consist of quantitative, qualitative, and administrative,” said Prof. Triyanto.
Prof. Triyanto explained that quantitatively, the cumulative is more than equal to 850. Qualitatively, namely scientific work with special requirements, journal quality, publication quality, and the relationship between publications and professors (S3). Meanwhile, the administrative requirements, namely the field of professorship, are not the same as the assignment of courses in the Head Lector’s Decree.
The webinar ended with a three-term question and answer session with five questioners in each term. After the question and answer session, the activity ended with a group photo session.
