FKIP – The Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB) Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) 2021 was held online through the Zoom Cloud Meeting and broadcast through the FKIP UNS official Youtube channel on Sunday (15/8/2021).

PKKMB is one of the routine activities held by the university, faculty to Study Program levels. This time, the PKKMB FKIP UNS raised the theme “Arkana Wira” which means a virtuous leader and a role model. According to Agus Tri Susilo, M.Pd., this is the hope and representation of FKIP students.
“This is also the hope and representation of FKIP UNS students who incidentally are prospective educators,” said Agus Tri Susilo, M.Pd. as Chair of the PKKMB FKIP UNS 2021 Committee.

Campus introduction activities at the faculty and study program level will last for two days, on Sunday-Monday (15-16/8/2021). Meanwhile, the PKKMB activity agenda on Sunday (15/8/2021) consisted of welcoming and opening activities by Dr. Mardiyana, M.Si. as the Dean of FKIP UNS, the official submission and inauguration, as well as the presentation of information and material from several speakers according to their respective fields of expertise. The next day there will be an introduction to campus activities at the Study Program level and also an introduction to the Student Activity Unit (UKM) within the UNS FKIP environment.

In his report, Agus said that as of August 14, 2021, the number of students who had registered on desks and participated in the PKKMB FKIP UNS activities this year amounted to 2,084 students.

The activity was followed by remarks as well as the opening of the introduction to the campus of Dr. Mardiyana, M.Si. Although the activity is still held online, he hopes that this activity can clearly introduce information about the academic and non-academic worlds held at FKIP UNS to new students.

Furthermore, there was a session of handing over new FKIP UNS students to the Head of the Study Program as well as a symbolic inauguration which in this case was represented by Deputy Dean 1, Chair of PKKMB FKIP UNS 2021, representatives of Head of Study Programs and two new student representatives who had been present offline on campus.

Entering the core PKKMB FKIP UNS 2021 event, the activity began with the introduction of FKIP leaders by the UNS FKIP Sub Coordinator, Luhur Sukamto, S.H.

Meanwhile, the core activities of the 2021 FKIP FKIP UNS PKKMB contained material presentations by the Dean of FKIP UNS and his staff. Starting from the delivery of the vision, mission, and profile of FKIP UNS by Dr. Mardiyana, M.Si. The presentation of the material presented regarding the outputs of FKIP UNS graduates to organization students in FKIP UNS was delivered by the Deputy Dean 1 of FKIP UNS. Followed by technical information about academics and student affairs by the Academic Sub-Coordinator. Material from Vice Dean 2, regarding the fields of human resources, finance, and logistics. The last presentation of material on matters related to planning, cooperation, business. and information by the Deputy Dean of FKIP UNS.
