Greeting Study Program Activities Also Coloring the 2021 FKIP UNS PKKMB Event

FKIP – The Greeting Study Program (Prodi) activity which was held on Monday (16/08/2021) online through the Zoom Meeting application, became the opening session for the fourth day of the Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB) Faculty of Teacher Training and Education ( FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta 2021.

Topik Kurniawan as Chair of the 2021 FKIP UNS PKKMB Committee, from the student element, explained that the Greet Study Program session on the FKIP UNS PKKMB agenda was adjusted to the Rector’s Decree (SK) Number 3117 of 2021 concerning the Inauguration of New Students and the 2021 PKKMB for the 2020/2021 Academic Year.

“Regarding the Greet Study Program session in the FKIP PKKMB agenda, in accordance with the Decree of the Chancellor of the Sebelas Maret University Number 3117 of 2021, where the PKKMB is carried out at the university, faculty, and study program levels. The time allocation for its implementation is four days divided into two days for University PKKMB and 2 days PKKMB faculty. In the faculty PKKMB, there was a schedule for giving material by the Study Program, at PKKMB FKIP UNS 2021 it is called the Greeting Study Program, ” Topik explained.

This Greeting Study Program activity was a form of introducing and inculcating character values in accordance with the characteristics of each Study Program because that is where new students will gain knowledge according to their interests and talents.

Regarding the technical implementation of the Greeting Study Program, Topik explained that the technical implementation was left to each Study Program at FKIP UNS. Meanwhile, the form of providing material in the activities of the Greet Study Program can be in the form of introducing the vision and mission, lecturers, infrastructure, diaspora, sharing experiences from alumni, and others.

“For the Greeting Study Program agenda based on the Rector’s Decree Number 3117 of 2021 which is on the fourth day, in the FKIP PKKMB the time allocation is from morning to noon. Then, the technical implementation is left to the respective Study Programs and the form of material giving can be in the form of introductions to the respective Study Programs each related to the vision and mission, lecturers, infrastructure, diaspora, sharing experiences from alumni, and others,” said Topik.
