FKIP – The Alumni Association (IKA) of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta provided Leadership and Achievement Motivation Training (AMT) material at the Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB) FKIP UNS through Zoom Cloud Meeting and broadcast live via Semar TV’s youtube channel on Sunday (15/8/2021).

The material was delivered by Dr. Soeprayitno, M.Si., M. BA., Ph. D. The material began with a topic entitled “BMW Success Story Telling”. He explained how students must become stars with their talents and be supported by good performance.

“When people who are talented and not a star, it means that they are still at the talent GEM stage, which means they must be polished. If students are not talented, but at least will be successful in performance then they will become solid performers. Talent is not enough, it is more important how the performance is like, ” Dr. Suprayitno explained.

Dr. Suprayitno shared a recipe for facing challenges in the future, especially in the world of lectures, namely GRIT (Guts, Resilience, Initiative, Tenacity).

“The guts in question are daring to be a minority. The resilience in question is not lamenting life. The initiative is how to get out, and tenacity is students must think globally, have excellence, and have politeness,” said Dr. Suprayitno.

Dr. Suprayitno said that in every life there must be problems, obstacles, and trials. In addition, he also explained the material with the topic “Roadmap Your Life is Your Game BMW” which means that students must have three roadmaps, namely fun, obedient access, and performance.

“Students must have their game-changer, how students can change. So, students must have a road map. There are 3 roadmaps, namely fun, obeying access or knowing the rules of the game, and performing which means success,” said Dr. Suprayitno.

He also shared a roadmap about himself to be an inspiration for new FKIP students.

“In terms of career path, I have been working since 1987. Entrepreneurs have been pioneering since 2011. Teaching, lecturing, coaching, training until now involved in Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka,” he concluded.
