FKIP – The opening of the Internal Quality Audit (AMI) level 1 Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta in 2021 was held on Wednesday (1/9/2021) coordinated by the Division of Monitoring and Evaluation of the Quality Assurance Unit ( UPM) FKIP UNS. The opening ceremony was attended by the FKIP Leaders, the Head of the FKIP Study Program (Kaprodi), the Chair and Deputy Chair of the S-1, S-2, S-3 Study Program Control Group, FKIP Education Personnel, and the FKIP UPM Team. The event was held online via Zoom Cloud Meeting.

In the opening ceremony of AMI, the event was opened by the Dean of FKIP UNS, Dr. Mardiyana, M.Si. and begins with a presentation about the importance of AMI in the process of quality assurance and accreditation of Study Programs by the Chairperson of UPM FKIP, Dr. Suharno, M.Si. and technical explanation of the implementation of AMI 2021 by Dr. Baskoro Adi Prayitno, M.Pd. Furthermore, the question and answer session was opened after the presentation of the material took place. This was intended to be a space for all parties involved to confirm and clarify matters related to AMI so that a common perception is obtained. The activity closed with reinforcement and direction from the Deputy Dean for field 1, Prof. Dr. Slamet Subiyantoro, M.Si.

Based on available data, the AMI FKIP UNS Opening event was attended by 148 participants. AMI activities are planned to be held on Wednesday-Thursday (1-16/9/2021). AMI level 1 will capture the achievement of standards in the fields of education, research, and service in 24 S-1 Study Programs, 1 Professional Education Study Program, 17 Master’s Degree Study Programs, and 5 Doctoral Programs within FKIP UNS.

In the direction given, the Faculty Leader stated that the AMI process needs to be addressed positively as part of the quality assurance process. The findings submitted by the auditor can be used as a reference for improving the quality of Tridharma in several audited study programs. A number of technical directions have also been conveyed during the opening activities to ensure auditors and auditees are aware of the workflow and reporting of AMI and its instruments. Through this activity, it is hoped that the AMI process can run well and smoothly with the support and active participation of all parties involved.
