FKIP – The Student Association of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program (HIMPROBSI) Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta held a Workshop on Literary Language Week 2021 with the theme “Language and Literature in the Creative Industry Frame: Fruit Innovation Copyright, Taste, and Intention” online on Sunday (5/9/2021) via the Zoom Meeting application.
Moderated by Kanes Ratu as a student of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program (PBSI), this workshop presented two presenters, namely Dr. Sugit Zulianto, M.Pd. and Titi Setyoningsih, S.Pd., M.Pd. who is a Lecturer of the PBSI FKIP UNS Study Program.
Before entering the material presentation session, the workshop activities began with an opening by the presenter, singing the Indonesia Raya anthem, remarks by the chairman of the 2021 Literary Language Week committee, remarks by the Chair of HIMPROBSI, and remarks by the Head of the PBSI Study Program.

In his speech, Dr. Budhi Setiawan, M.Pd. as the Head of the PBSI Study Program explained that this workshop is part of a series of activities for the 2021 Literary Language Week which is expected to develop skills and motivate students of the PBSI Study Program, especially in creating literary works.
“We need to say that this activity is a series of several activities at the 2021 Literary Language Week designed by the committee. It’s not just a workshop today, but the committee has five big agendas, namely a Southeast Asian poetry writing competition, national poetry reading competition, poetry reading competition at the national level writing short stories at the national level. national webinar, and closed with the HIMPROBSI sharing activity. Hopefully, this workshop can provide experience and training for students, especially in writing poetry and short stories, and motivate them to be more productive in their work,” explained Dr. Budhi.
The activity continued with the presentation of material by the two presenters. The first speaker, Dr. Sugit Zulianto, M.Pd., explained the material entitled “The Nature of Indonesian Literature and Its Implementation in Poetry Writing”. Meanwhile, the second speaker, Titi Setyoningsih, S.Pd., M.Pd., presented the material entitled “Writing Creative Short Stories”.
The activity continued with a question and answer session and intermezzo, and ended with a documentation and closing session by the presenter.
