FKIP – Masters Program in Science Education Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta held a National Webinar online via Zoom Meeting on Tuesday (28/9/2021). The theme of this webinar is “The Problems of Learning Science Post Covid-19 Pandemic in the Digital Era with two interesting topics and two competent speakers in their fields. The speaker in this webinar, Dr. Munzil, S.Pd., M.Si from the Head of Science Education Study Program, State University of Malang, and Dr. Sarwanto, S.Pd., M.Sc. Head of Postgraduate Science Education Study Program, FKIP UNS.
This 2021 Science Education National Webinar is an annual routine activity that has been carried out from year to year. The event began with remarks from the Head of the Master of Science Education Study Program, FKIP UNS, Dr. Sarwanto, M.Si. In his remarks, he said that the choice of the theme for this webinar was a form of anxiety about the problems that arose during the COVID-19 pandemic. He also hopes that the science learning process using digital technology can develop and creative ideas emerge after this webinar is held so that they can be followed up learning the future.

Dr. Mardiyana as the Dean of FKIP UNS in his speech explained that during the 4.0 industrial revolution, various educational circles must be able to use technology as a teaching tool, especially science learning.
“What are the problems and what are the alternatives, we must be able to think creatively and think critically, to produce many alternative solutions. Then from that, we can choose which solution is the best in utilizing supporting technology in learning,” explained the Dean of FKIP UNS. The
Activity continued with the presentation of material by the first speaker, Dr. Munzil. M.Si from the State University of Malang. He explained the material on the real situation, the effect of rejection/adjustment, and the need for a change in the mindset of educators.
“Current conditions, we know that a big change has occurred, previously learning in the classroom has now shifted to online learning. The change makes students/students required to adapt in such a way to the virtual learning culture. these things are important to change the mindset of educators and students so that the good culture that is formed in a pandemic situation can foster a learning culture, “said Dr. Munzil.

The second presentation was delivered by the Head of the Master of Science Education Study Program, Dr. Sarwanto, S. Pd., M.Sc. He explained the material after the covid-19 pandemic, a new era of learning an IPA.
“The current situation based on the 4 Ministerial Decree, the situation of learning science using LMS, Social Media, Video Conference, the development of a virtual classroom information system, the development of a virtual laboratory. The big impact is that the technological stuttering experienced has turned into technological literacy,” concluded Dr. Sarwanto.
