FKIP – A number of Student Creativity Program (PKM) teams from the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta took part in a series of activities at the 34th National Student Science Week (PIMNAS) on Tuesday (26/10/ 2021).
PIMNAS is the peak activity of the national meeting of students’ creativity and scientific reasoning that is scheduled academically by universities in improving the culture of academic competition and performance among students. This activity is carried out by universities based on the agreement of the university leadership approved by the Directorate General of Learning and Student Affairs, Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education.
This activity was carried out for three days, namely October 26, 2021 as the opening, October 27, 2021 for the first day presentation, October 28, 2021 for the second day presentation, and closed and announced on October 29, 2021. This year’s PIMNAS activity was held at the University North Sumatra (USU), Medan.
The activity was officially opened by the university leadership and invited guests by pressing the button together. This time PIMNAS carries the theme “Towards a Golden Indonesia through Collaboration for Innovation in the Frame of Local Wisdom.”
A number of FKIP UNS teams participated in this activity. They were spread in the field of the Student Entrepreneurship Creativity Program (PKM-K) as many as three teams and the Student Creativity Program – Application of Science and Technology (PKM-PI) as many as one team.
In order to welcome the 34th PIMNAS activity, each of them prepared various necessities needed during the event. The preparation includes making posters, completing presentation needs in the form of power point (PPT), preparing attributes, and presentation exercises.
Sony Baroo Amirulloh, one of the team leaders from FKIP said that the opening ceremony went smoothly.
“The activity ran smoothly and was attended by participants from various universities, institutions, and polytechnics from all over Indonesia. Even though it’s online, the PIMNAS is enthusiastic and the atmosphere is still alive,” explained Sony.
In addition, Sony also conveyed his impression after being declared eligible and joining the 34th PIMNAS.
“I am very lucky to be a part of PIMNAS 34. I was met with academics and intellectuals from all over the country. The greatness of his ideas and innovation ideas, provides new knowledge and insights for us,” said Sony.
