FKIP – Student Association of Biosphere Education Study Program (Biosphere) Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta held online and offline Biosphere Development Hamlet activities in Mipitan RT 1 and 3 RW 36 Mojosongo Village, Jebres, Surakarta on Sunday (17/10/2021).
This activity was a routine annual agenda of the community service division which is carried out once in one management period. This activity aims to raise awareness of the environment, develop non-technical skills, and as a first step for students to enter the community directly.
Titi Yuliatun as the chief executive of the Biosphere Assisted Hamlet said that this activity was attended by 37 Biosphere administrators and the Mipitan Hamlet community.
“The activity was attended by 37 administrators of the Biology Education Study Program Student Association FKIP UNS and the Mipitan Hamlet community,” said Titi.
The activities of the assisted hamlets are events that take place on a regular basis. At the opening ceremony, the activity began with a seminar study aimed at the public about eco print products. In this case, the committee cooperates with Etlo.id.
“The activity held on Sunday is the grand opening of the Biosphere Fostered Hamlet which contains a seminar study for the people of Mipitan Hamlet related to eco print products. In this activity, the public listens to a seminar on eco print products from Etlo.id,” explained Titi.
As a form of follow-up, the activity will be continued with training on making eco print products and ended with closing. Titi also expressed hope from the seminar which was held at the beginning of the activity. She expressed her hope regarding public awareness to develop eco print products.
“Hopefully, people will be moved to develop eco print products that aim to protect the environment and also people’s standard of living,” Titi hoped.
From this activity, Titi expressed the outcome to be achieved after the activity was carried out.
“After participating in this activity, it is hoped that the community and students involved will get the benefit, one of which is knowing the manufacture of the eco print product and developing the eco print product so that it can help develop the standard of living of the Mipitan community,” said Titi.
At the end of the interview, Titi conveyed the plans carried out regarding the activities of the Biosphere Foster Hamlet.
“Hopefully this event will be continued and the mechanism will be improved so that there will be an increase in the development of the Mipitan Hamlet community,” Titi concluded.
