FKIP – Students of the Economic Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) succeeded in making FKIP UNS proud in the national level quiz competition. The student named Rizki Wahyu Perdana won 3rd place in the national insight quiz competition in the Youth Pledge of the Jakarta State University (UNJ) Online Party Festival in 2021.

The activity organized by UNJ was held in commemoration of the 93rd Youth Pledge Day. The activity was carried out online with the peak of the activity being held on Thursday (28/10/2021) to coincide with the commemoration of the 93rd Youth Pledge Day of the Republic of Indonesia.

With the theme “Knowing the History of the Struggle of National Heroes and the Contribution of Youth in Realizing an Independent Indonesia”, this activity aims to increase the spirit of nationalism and patriotism among youth, as well as to hone knowledge about the history of the struggle of the heroes who have fought for Indonesian independence.

This competition reviews the material on patriotism, nationalism, national insight, and the role of youth in national insight. The series of competition activities include the elimination round, the top ten rounds, the top five rounds, and the determination of the winner.


Rizki Wahyu Perdana, in a written interview, said that this activity was expected to be able to form a young generation who has national insight, a sense of nationalism, and a spirit of patriotism. The hope is that the spirit of love for the homeland can grow among the younger generation and students.

“With this activity, it is hoped that it can form a young generation who loves the homeland and increases knowledge of national insight, as well as the spirit of nationalism and patriotism among youth and students,” explained Rizki.

Rizki added that by winning this championship, he wanted to become a person who was able to apply the spirit of the youth oath in his daily life, and the spirit of the youth oath became the driving force for his enthusiasm to be able to optimally involve many youth potentials.

“In the future, winning this championship is a reminder that we always apply the spirit and spirit of the youth oath in linear disciplines as well as in organizations and communities. In addition, this achievement is an incentive so that in the future we can carry out activities that involve the potential and empowerment of youth optimally,” Rizkiconcluded .
