FKIP – Education Study Program Extraordinary (PLB) Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta held a National Web Seminar (Webinar) of Healthy Living Community Movement (Germas) Inclusion 2021 Session 1. This webinar was held in collaboration between the PLB FKIP UNS Study Program with the Center for Disability Studies, Institute for Research and Community Service, Sebelas Maret University (PSD LPPM UNS) Surakarta, and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemdikbudristek).

This webinar was held on Tuesday (21/09/2021) through the Zoom Meeting application and YouTube Streaming on the LPPM UNS PSD account. The theme for this webinar is “Strengthening Germas and PHBS for Persons with Disabilities through Primary and Middle-Level Inclusive Education Units in Facing the New Normality of the Covid-19 Pandemic”.

Moderated by Arsy Anggrelanggi, S.Pd., M.Pd as Lecturer of PLB FKIP UNS and Peer Group PSD LPPM UNS, this webinar presented three speakers. Each resource person presented the material for sixty minutes and was followed by a question and answer session.

The first resource person is Dr. Subagya, M.Si. He is the Chief Prodi(Kaprodi)PLB FKIP and Peer Group UNS UNS LPPM PSD. Presenting the material entitled “Socialization of the National Mental Revolution Movement”, he explained the boundaries, background, principles, and main values ​​of the National Movement for Mental Revolution (GNRM). According to him, the loss of national integrity values, economic backwardness, and the crisis of national identity is the background for the need for GNRM.

“In an increasingly modern era, the Indonesian people are increasingly losing noble values, especially integrity. Indonesia is also faced with problems in the economic sector which is indeed far behind other countries due to the low work ethic of its citizens. the crisis of national identity. Therefore, a Mental Revolution is needed as a movement to improve a perspective that is oriented towards the advancement of work methods and experiences, not orientation to the loss of obligations, “said Subagyo.

The second resource person is Erma Kumala Sari, S.Psi., M.Psi. He is a PLB Lecturer at FKIP UNS. He presented a material entitled “Mental Preparedness in Facing the Covid-19 Pandemic”. Erma explained the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on mental health, signs that a person has a good mentality, and how to manage mentality. At the end of his presentation, he emphasized that someone with a good mentality is someone who can deal with problems well.

“By having a good mentality, individuals will have good mental readiness in dealing with the turmoil of the Covid-19 pandemic. So, it can be concluded that someone who has a good mentality is someone who can deal with problems well,” said Erma.

Meanwhile, the last or third resource person in this webinar was Nurhasan Agung Prabowo, dr., Sp.PD., M.Kes as a Lecturer of the Faculty of Medicine UNS. He presented a material entitled “Covid-19 Prevention and Control”. In his presentation, he explained the causes of the high number of Covid-19 cases in Indonesia, efforts to prevent Covid-19, the role of health workers, to face-to-face learning health protocols in education units during the pandemic. He said Covid-19 could be prevented by implementing health protocols.

“Parents and children are more vulnerable to being affected worse if exposed to Covid-19. Therefore, as a precaution against Covid-19, we need health protocols that are always developed by the government, namely wearing masks, washing hands, wearing face coverings, staying away from crowds. , and the promotion of vaccines,” explained Nurhasan.
