FKIP – The Office Administration Education Student Association (Himapaksi) Teacher Training and Education Faculty (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta held the UNS Entrepreneurship National Webinar on Saturday (20/11/2021). This webinar carries the theme “Inspiring Young Entrepreneurs to Take Advantage of Digital Technology to Build Start-Ups.”
This national webinar activity presented the owner of Pukis Badran as well as the UNS Vocational School Lecturer, Renata Zoraifi and the owner of Bronis Lur as well as a student of the History Education Study Program (Prodi) FKIP UNS, Fiska Amanda. This event was moderated by a student of Mathematics Education FKIP UNS, Arini Nurfadilah.

The activity was opened by the Deputy Dean of Planning, Business Cooperation, and Information FKIP UNS, Dr. Djono, M.Pd. In his speech, he said that entrepreneurship webinar is an important activity, especially with extraordinary speakers.
“Entrepreneurial webinar activity is an important event by presenting extraordinary speakers. The hope is that this activity can foster an entrepreneurial spirit for students, especially regarding entrepreneurship in the digital era,” said Dr. Djono.
Furthermore, the material presentation was delivered directly by Renata Zoraifi. He delivered material on Young Entrepreneur and Start up.
“Young entrepreneurs must have a persistent passion for entrepreneurship. When you become an entrepreneur, you must never give up because you still have many opportunities. Learn from experience, look for mentors, and ask for advice from mentors,” said Ranata.
Renata continued her presentation about the philosophy of the drama Start Up.
“From the drama Start Up, we can learn about the spirit of never giving up. For example, how they tried to make a start-up company that ended up being a huge success. We also learn not to be afraid of criticism, to accept criticism graciously, and to take action to correct what is criticized. Then, there is a very important collaboration within the team,” said Renata.
Renata continued by providing entrepreneurial learning tips, namely knowing what you want, don’t expect to start perfectly, always put consumers first, success is a gradual process, and don’t be afraid to fail.
The next presentation was delivered by Fiska Amanada. She presented material about the experience of starting an entrepreneur in order to become an extraordinary entrepreneur.
“To become an entrepreneur, the main thing needed is tenacity. The entrepreneurial profession does not require difficult conditions, does not require a certain study background, or does not only have to be from the wealthy,” explained Fiska.
Fiska added that although the entrepreneurial requirements are not difficult, entrepreneurial activities in the campus world have not been widely carried out. This is generally because the entrepreneurial mindset has not yet been formed. Fiska said that for entrepreneurship, what needs to be done is execution or taking action.
“What needs to be done to start a business is to have motivation, an entrepreneurial mindset, and the most important thing is to make it happen by taking action,” Fiska concluded.
