FKIP – Student Activity Unit (UKM) Islamic Activity Center (SKI) Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta held the 9th Routine Islamic Study (Kaisar) online on Sunday (7/11/2021).
Kaisar’s theme #9 is self-reflection with the title “Muslim Self Healing: How Can a Muslim Make Peace with Wounds?”. The event began with the reading of recitations and continued with the reading of the resource persons’ curriculum vitae (CV).

The activity was guided by the presenter, Fuad Isnaini. Emperor #9 invited Muhammad Arif Rizqi, M.Psi. Psychologist as resource person. Arif is a clinical psychologist and lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta.
Arif delivered the material with the title “Self-Healing Ala Muslim: Determination of Destiny – Determination of the Heart”. He started by giving material about the nature of destiny.
“We all realize that destiny is a decree from Allah SWT that has been determined, whether it has happened or has not happened. The problem is, we don’t know what our destiny will be,” said Arif.

Arif explained that humans will be tested. The test can be pleasant or unpleasant. Arif explained this by the surah contained in the Qur’an.
The next material relates to how to respond to destiny. This material was presented by Arif by giving quotes from W. Mustika.
“Rest for a moment. Your job is not to change the world, let alone change the universe. Your job is just to be more at peace with yourself,” said Arif.
Arif explained that everyone who gets the exam will give several responses, namely positive belief, positive thinking, and positive action. However, in addition to these responses, some people reject or deny the exam they are facing.
The activity ended with giving two tips as material for reflection as well as reminders, a question and answer session, and giving a closing statement from the presenters.
“Today what is still there, we use it as well as possible. What is past and makes us sad let it pass and put it in its place. Whatever happens in the future, which is still a mystery and we will not necessarily get there, then let it be where it is. So what we can do is be grateful for what God has given us at this time,” concluded Arif.
