FKIP – One of the lecturers of the Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program (PTM) of the Teacher Training and Education Faculty (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta was listed as being nominated for the two percent of the most influential scientists in the world. This category refers to the ranking of Top 2% World Ranking Scientists published by Stanford University and Elsevier BV.
Periodically, the ranking of Top 2% World Ranking Scientists is continuously updated by Elsevier BV and Stanford University. This update is done regularly, which is yearly. The data was last updated on October 20, 2021.
In the latest update, it was recorded that 58 scientists from Indonesia were included in the list of 2% of the most influential scientists in the world. One of the 58 Indonesian scientists listed is Dr. Eng. Nugroho Agung Pambudi, M.Eng. who is a lecturer in the Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program, FKIP UNS.
Dr. Agung has been a UNS lecturer since 2012 until now. Apart from being a lecturer, he is also the editor of 3 international journals, 1 journal Q2 Scopus, 1 journal Q4 Scopus, and 1 international journal Frontiers.
Prior to reaching his current career, Dr. Agung studied Postdoctoral Research Associate in 2016-2017 International Institute for Carbon-Neutral Energy Research (I2CNER) Kyushu University. Then at the doctoral level, he studied Doctoral Engineering (Dr. Eng) Department of Earth Resources Engineering, Kyushu University Research Area: Thermodynamic, renewable energy, geothermal in 2011-2014.
“Hopefully it can be useful,” responded Dr. Agung who was included in the list of the 2% of the most influential scientists in the world by Stanford and Elsevier BV.
The following are a series of awards that have been received by Dr. Great. First, the Honored Intellectual Property Award from the Indonesian Ministry of Justice and Human Rights. Second, Winner IT TIC competition in Taiwan. Third, Runner up Halal Tech competition in Malaysia. Fourth, Awarded visiting scholar by Korean Institute Energy Research 2013. Fifth, Japanese Monbusho Scholarship for Doctoral Engineering study 2011. Sixth, Awarded young researcher program by Finland government in 2010. Seventh, Best Lecturers in two years 2019-2020 at UNS.
