FKIP – Three students from the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta won 1st place in the National Level Learning Media Competition in the Techno Educare #2 event. The three students came from the Surakarta Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program (Prodi) FKIP UNS. They are Wulandari, Nia Apriyanti, and Laetitia Sabrina Dewashanty.
Announced through the Zoom Meeting application and live streaming through the PGSD FKIP UNS YouTube account on Tuesday (21/12/2021), this event consists of two categories of national-level competitions, namely microteaching competitions and learning media competitions. Meanwhile, the theme raised in the learning media competition was “Implementation of TPACK in Learning to Accelerate the Digital Era to Realize Civilized Education”.
In the competition, Wulandari and his team brought up an application called Space-Net (Smart Learning Series About Planets). Wulandari explained that Space-Net is an interactive learning media that can be used in science learning for class VI semester two about planets, starting from understanding, characteristics, and classification.
“Space-Net is an interactive learning media that integrates elements of images, audio, video, and text which is also supported by operational buttons that can be operated by students or teachers to control the use of learning media. This media can be used in science learning for class VI semester two on the meaning of planets, names of planets in the solar system, characteristics of planets in the solar system, and types of the grouping of planets in the solar system,” explained Wulandari via WhatsApp message on Monday (12/27/2021).

Wulandari added that the media they developed was equipped with games features as a means of reflection and quizzes as a means of evaluation.
“Space-Net learning media is equipped with game features and quizzes. Game features can be used by teachers in carrying out learning reflections. Meanwhile, the quiz feature can be used as a form of learning evaluation to determine the extent of students’ understanding of the planetary material that has been studied”, Wulandari added.
In the future, Wulandari and his team will develop the learning media and plan to apply for Intellectual Property Rights (HaKI).
