FKIP – Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta has won the Annual Student Education Festival (FESTA) Communication Forum (Forkom) FKIP Indonesia. Announced at the Summit Meeting of the Indonesian State FKIP Leaders Forum, Thursday (2/12/2021) at the University of Riau (Unri), FKIP UNS managed to get eight awards.

The first award that was won was Best Teacher Microteaching. The award was won by Endah Yuliana Lestari. The second award was won by Aulia Akhmad Fahreza and Putriana Dafa as 2nd Winner of Online Learning Media.

The third award was 1st place in the Indonesian Language Debate Competition (KDBI) category which was won by the UNS A-Team. The team consisted of Kamsu Aji Wiguna and Zalfaa Azalia Pursita. Other awards won, namely the award as the best speaker on behalf of Kamsu Aji Wiguna, Akhmad Mukhibun, Farah Yuki Prasetyawati, and Zalfaa Azalia Pursita.

Not only that, but FKIP UNS also won an award in the category of scientific writing competition (KTI). Meanwhile, the award was ranked 3rd in the KTI Competition on behalf of Dji Hanafit. The next award that was won was the 2nd runner-up in the Jingle Creation Contest Category on behalf of Laras Kusuma Wardani.

Prof. Slamet Subiyantoro, M.Sc., as the Deputy Dean for Academic, Research, and Student Affairs FKIP UNS expressed his pride in this achievement. However, he emphasized that he was still not satisfied because there were several categories of competitions that had not been won.

“I am very proud of the achievement of FKIP UNS in the Forkom Festa at the University of Riau. Of course with this achievement, FKIP UNS is still strong. However, we are not satisfied because there are categories of competitions that have not been won by the FKIP UNS delegation. us,” explained Prof. Slamet via Whatsapp telephone, Friday (12/10/2021)

In the future, he and the Student Affairs and Achievement Unit of FKIP UNS will evaluate the results of these achievements by increasing efforts to provide assistance and guidance to student delegates in the Forkom Festa next year.

“Next year’s Forkom Festa is planned to be held at the University of Mataram (Unram), so what competitions will be held is not yet known. However, we are not worried because the potential and talents of FKIP UNS students vary greatly. As an evaluation material, we are with the Unit FKIP UNS Student Affairs and Achievements will increase efforts to provide assistance and guidance to student delegates in the Forkom Festa next year,” explained Prof. good luck.
