FKIP – The Student Executive Board (BEM) of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta held a Social Visit to Embrace Love for One another (Kusir Cinta) for children at the Nur Hidayah Foundation, Laweyan, Surakarta. In collaboration with the Lazis UNS, the activity was held on Sunday (5/12/2021) by implementing health protocols.

Kusir Cinta is one of the work programs under the auspices of the Ministry of Social Affairs BEM FKIP UNS. In 2021, the activity was held in the form of a social visit to the Nur Hidayah Foundation to ease the burden on others and implement a form of community service for the BEM FKIP UNS management.

The activity was opened by reading a fairy tale by Alifyan Khairul Ilham. He is one of the administrators of the Coordinating Institute for the Al-Quran Education Park Movement (LKG TPQ) in Solo and near it. The activity was continued by playing with the children at the Nur Hidayah Foundation. Then, the Kusir Cinta activity was closed with the delivery of gifts to the children, as well as the delivery of basic necessities and social funds to the foundation.

Evita Diana as Minister of the Ministry of Social Affairs BEM FKIP UNS hopes that this activity can increase the social spirit, sensitivity, and gratitude of the parties involved, especially for the management of BEM FKIP UNS.

“I hope that by carrying out this activity, all parties involved, especially the BEM FKIP UNS management can improve their social spirit. They are expected to be more sensitive to surrounding conditions and more willing to help each other. Hopefully, this activity will also increase gratitude for the blessings that have been given by God,” hoped Evita via Whatsapp message on Wednesday (12/22/2021).

Evita also hopes that the activities can help and foster good relations as well as brotherhood between BEM FKIP UNS and the community.

“Our hope is for the community from us, hopefully, the people involved in this activity can be helped and we can foster good relations and brotherhood between BEM FKIP UNS and the community,” Evita concluded.
