FKIP – Office Administration Education (PAP) Student of Teacher Training Program and Education Sciences (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) succeeded in achieving national-level achievements, namely becoming 1st Winner of the Public Speech Contest. The student who won this prize was named Muhammad Hilmi Sabitul Azmi.

This online competition was organized by the Office Management Education Student Association, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. The competition, called The Day of Manper, was participated by students and students of Office Administration throughout Indonesia. The activity was carried out in several stages, including registration, video collection, video selection, and announcement of winners. The announcement of the winners was held on Thursday (9/12/2021) with the results of 1st place being obtained by Muhammad Hilmi from UNS.

“The competition process is carried out online in the form of videos with a maximum duration of five minutes. There are several sub-themes determined by the committee, I took the sub-theme of creating a positive image of the company. The reason for choosing this sub-theme is to inform employees about the role of employees as indirect public relations,” explained Hilmi.

Hilmi explained his impression of winning this championship.

“Of course, I am very grateful to be able to win this competition and also more motivated to continue working and excel in other competitions,” continued Hilmi.

In addition, Hilmi hopes that in the future they can develop their communication competencies so that they become a means of motivation for themselves and others.

“Hopefully in the future, I hope that I can continue to develop my communication competence and can also be a means of motivation for myself and others to continue to hone useful skills in the future,” explained Hilmi.

Before winning this competition, Hilmi also won other competitions, such as 3rd place in the English Presentation Competition organized by the Office Administration Education Student Association, Yogyakarta State University, and 1st place in the Host Competition organized by the Office Administration Diploma Student Association, University of Lampung.

Furthermore, Hilmi also explained that he hopes that he can continue to contribute to his achievements and hopes that more UNS students will take part in various competitions that are useful for improving themselves.

“Hopefully we can continue to contribute in the form of achievements. And, more Office Administration Education (PAP) and UNS students are participating in various competitions, so they can improve their quality and become someone who can contribute to UNS,” concluded Hilmi.
