FKIP – Center for Islamic Studies (SKI) Pabelan Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta held a large class #2 webinar online on Sunday (12/12/2021). This activity carries the theme “Millennial Islamic Decoration in End Times Isolation”. This large class presents Owner Khaled Co. as well as a teacher at SMPI Al Abidin, Mohammad Darril Hermawan.

This activity is a series of activities “The Adventure of Islamic Islamic Youth #8” which aims to introduce, understand, and develop students with the aim of Islamic da’wah. Mohammad Darril gave a presentation on “The Problems of the People of the End Times.”

The background of this problem is based on socio-cultural situations and shifts in values.

“Socio-cultural tendencies and shifts in values ​​are in the form of pragmatic human judgments, judging only material and external things, being trapped in cultural and technological systems, and individualism,” Darril explained.

Darril also added the concept of economic tendencies that cause problems for the people.

“The forms of problems are caused by the economy, for example, because of inequality, the occurrence of crime and behavioral deviations,” Darril continued.

In internal and external problems, the world’s problems are caused by self-conditions, the surrounding environment, and the existence of globalization.

“Internal factors that cause problems are low knowledge, the emergence of deviant groups, and feeling the most correct. On external factors, generally, the problems are caused by globalization. Globalization extends through 3F, food, fun, fashion, and secularism,” said Darril.

Darril continued to explain secularism and the form of the era when many people normalized sin and sinned with style.

“Secularism means separating religious thought from worldly life. This view is what drives many new problems in life. So that the realm of religion is considered something separate from the life of the world.

“The large number of people who participate in normalizing sin, for example, considers deviance to be normal, free sex, and so on, adding to this problem. Moreover, the form of error gets a place in society, for example by smoothing the language of deviation, “said Darril.

At the end of the presentation, Darril conveyed ways to address this problem.

“Facing the problems that occur in the people of the end of time, can be addressed by continuing to learn and stick to religion,” concluded Darril.
