FKIP – Students of the Physical Education Study Program (Prodi) of the Teacher Training and Education Faculty (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta won 2nd place nationally in the 2021 EKSIS FE UNNES competition.

This online competition carried the theme “Printing Millennials with Achievement and Noble Morals”. Based on this theme, Kusnul Khotimah, a student of Physics Education class of 2020, proposed an idea entitled “Printing Outstanding Millennials Based on Prophetic Morals”. With her work, Kusnul was declared the 2nd winner who was announced via Instagram.

On Friday (12/24/2021), Kusnul told that she went through to win the championship to the fkip.uns.ac.id team.

“Register and then pay the registration fee. Then, make a script that will be contested, take a video, and upload it on the committee’s Google Drive. Then, it was announced the top ten for the finals on zoom. Thank God I passed. Then, do the final against ten other finalists in the Zoom room and return to give a live speech. Then, until finally the winner was announced at the peak of the Zoom event and on Instagram,” explained Kusnul.

In addition, Kusnul explained his reasons for proposing the ideas he offered.

“The background for choosing this idea was because currently Indonesian youth, especially the millennial generation, need a guide, namely role models. In fact, Indonesian youth are also required to excel and have Islamic character. Now then, this is the background for conveying the idea, namely to produce a millennial generation who excels in a way that is oriented to the morals of the Prophet Muhammad,” said Kusnul.

Kusnul proposed the idea with the aim of building enthusiasm among the youth so that they have a spirit of achievement and noble character.

Based on this idea, Kusnul inserts the benefits she wants to get, namely that Indonesian youth can be aware of the importance of being young people who excel and have a noble character so that they can build a better Indonesia.

At the end of the interview, Kusnul expressed the hope that he wanted to achieve.

“Hopefully I can win another competition to make the name of the alma mater UNS proud and be able to spread the benefits,” concluded Kusnul.
