Then the summit event was filled with several performances, namely the recitation of poems, the staging of a drama entitled “Layang kanggo gusti”, and a seminar with UPKD alumni.

Tino Widya Wisudawan as the chairman of UPKD FKIP UNS said that this activity aims to stage the ability of UPKD members during this period. In addition, this activity is the last event or release of management this year.

“The work is used to stage what has been trained for a year, so during that year the friends are played again in the work. Well at the Farewell Party this is like a peak night of work that has a mission as the release of management this year,” he explained when met by the fkip team. .uns.ac.id on Thursday (20/1/2022).

Tino hopes that the implementation of this activity can increase the capacity of UPKD to be more advanced, creative, innovative, and varied in creating work.

“The hope for the future is that UPKD in the next year can be more advanced, creative, innovative, and varied in making works. Despite the circumstances, however, it is still alive, so despite the ups and downs, UPKD remains UPKD,” he hoped.

In addition, Refano as one of the actors in the drama “Layang kanggo gusti” said that the staging of this drama is more entertaining than a drama that is difficult to enjoy.

“It’s a fun stage, it doesn’t follow the rules, so it’s light for UPKD’s internal consumption, because it’s also a management release, so it’s made as exciting as possible,” he said.

He also hopes that UPKD members can revive the art in their respective areas, which according to him, such art is starting to lose its grip in the area.

“The hope is for the friends who travel in Solo, especially the UPKD board when they graduate, they can bring it to their area with the intention that this art can be revived,” he hoped.

Tian as an alumnus said that UPKD has so far undergone many changes such as reforms and innovations that are better than previously seen from this event.

“There are many innovations and innovations from the previous ones if it used to be Javanese staging but more Javanese drama, but if this was Javanese staging as well but drama plus ketoprak,” said Tian during the seminar.
