FKIP – Student Association (Hima) Elementary School Teacher Education (PGSD) Surakarta Faculty of Teacher Training and Science Education (FKIP) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta held a Grand Opening Workshop for Student Creativity Week (PKM) on Saturday (14/1/2022). Themed “Development of Innovative and Solutions of Self Potential Through Writing Student Creativity Programs”, the activity was held online through the Zoom Meeting application.
This workshop is one of the work programs under the auspices of the Hima PGSD Surakarta Student Resource Development Division. The work program is incorporated in a study class called Kejar PGSD Surakarta.
Moderated by Ratna Widya Irmayanti as a Student of the PGSD Surakarta Study Program (Prodi) FKIP UNS, this workshop presented a resource person. The resource person is Dr. Septi Yulisetiani, S. Pd., M. Pd. He is a lecturer in the PGSD FKIP UNS Study Program and the Head of the UNS FKIP Achievement Unit. He explained the material entitled “PKM: Innovative and Solutive Self Potential Development Through Writing Student Creativity Programs”.

In his presentation, he delivered material on the achievements of FKIP UNS students in PKM, an overview of PKM, PKM topics, various PKMs, PKM passed funding, and the Student Scientific Week (Pimnas), as well as preparation of PKM competencies.
He explained that PKM consists of 2 types, namely PKM Funding Proposals and PKM Incentives. PKM Funding consists of PKM in 5 fields and PKM-Constructive Futuristic Ideas (PKM-GFK). While the Incentive PKM consists of PKM-Scientific Articles (PKM-AI) and PKM-Written Ideas (PKM-GT).
“There are two types of PKM in the 2021 PKM Guidelines, namely PKM Funding Proposals, and PKM Incentives. PKM Funding consists of PKM in 5 fields, namely PKM-Research (PKM-RE/PKM-RSH), PKM-Community Service (PKM-PM), PKM-Entrepreneurship (PKM-K), PKM-Applied Science and Technology (PKM-PI), and PKM-Karsa Cipta (PKM-KC) and PKM-Constructive Futuristic Ideas (PKM-GFK). Scientific Articles (PKM-AI) and PKM-Written Ideas (PKM-GT),” explained Dr. Sept.
At the end of his presentation, Dr. Septi explained that compiling a PKM proposal requires some preparation. He mentioned that there are six points that students must prepare for the PKM competition in 2022.
“The last topic we will discuss is the preparation of PKM competencies. Compiling a PKM proposal requires several steps or stages that must be prepared. There are six steps or stages that you can take. preparation. The first is to find motivation and hope and make commitments. The second is to actively collect information about PKM. The third is to read and understand the PKM Manual. The fourth is to find ideas. Fifth is to form a group. The last step is to compose a PKM proposal,” concluded Dr. . Sept.
The activity ended with a question and answer session guided by a moderator and documentation.
