FKIP – Students of the Teacher Training and Education Faculty (FKIP) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta again made proud achievements. This achievement came from Zaenal Efendi from the Fine Arts Education Study Program (PSR) who won the title of Male Talented Champion and Galuh Setyo Febrianjani from the Mathematics Education Study Program as 3rd Winner of the Generation Planning Ambassador (Genre) Karanganyar Regency in 2021.

Zaenal and Galuh succeeded won the title after going through several stages of selection. The stages include file verification, technical meeting, written test, interview test, briefing 1, preliminary, briefing 2, and announcement of winners.

When met by the UNS FKIP Journalists Team on Tuesday (22/2/2022), Zaenal told his motivation for participating in the Karanganyar Genre Ambassador Election. He said that his desire to participate in the selection of genre ambassadors was based on his desire to excel.

“The motivation to join the genre arose when I had the thought that for so long participating in activities such as UKM and Komda there have been no outstanding achievements and can be used as passion. Finally, I was interested in joining the Selection of Genre Ambassadors of Karanganyar because I think I had learned about genre material at the time. became the PMR administrator at my high school,” said Zaenal.

In line with Zaenal, Galuh also expressed his motivation to join the Karanganyar Genre Ambassador. He said that he took part in the selection of a genre ambassador because he felt it was within his abilities.

“Previously I had participated in the selection of ambassadors at the campus level and managed to qualify for the grand final. From that experience, I tried to take part in a similar event at the district level. Actually, at that time I was undecided between participating in the selection of Putri Lawu Karanganyar or Genre Ambassador Karanganyar. Finally, I chose to participate in the selection of genre ambassadors because it suits my abilities,” said Galuh.

On this occasion, Zaenal also explained the benefits of following the development of genre ambassadors. He revealed three important points of these benefits.

“I think the benefits of being a genre ambassador or following genre developments, especially for students, are many. One of them is that we understand the importance of the role of Indonesian youth in the nation’s future. For example, in preparing family life for teenagers. We understand how to determine the level of education and careers. planned and married with full planning by the reproductive health cycle,” explained Zaenal.

Galuh added that there are 8 genre substances that they must socialize to the public, especially in Karanganyar Regency. Where the 8 substances are the core program of the genre, namely preparing family life for teenagers (PKBR).

“So as long as we carry out our mandate as genre ambassadors, we get the task to socialize 8 genre substances with the main core to prepare PKBR. Gender, and IEC,” added Galuh.

At the end of the interview session, Zaenal and Galuh invited all Indonesian people, especially students, to be more aware of the importance of planning in building family life. (Public Relations)
