FKIP – Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta Students who are currently carrying out Lecture activities Real Work (KKN) in Pendem Village, Mojogedang, Sragen invites the community to participate in blood donation activities at the Pendem Village Hall PKK Building, Mojogedang, Sragen on Sunday (20/2/2022).

This blood donation activity was carried out as one of the work programs of the 17 UNS KKN group for the period January – February 2022. The purpose of this blood donation activity was to increase public awareness about the importance of donating blood for oneself and others.

The seven-member group consists of Esa Apriliansyah, Amanda Lumondang, Binti Nafiatuz Zulfa, Awab Sajid, Endah Ayu Dewani, Endang Pratiwi, and Shuhella Nisa Salma invited all residents of Pendem Mojogedang Village who had fulfilled the blood donor requirements to participate in this activity.

This blood donation activity carries the theme “Give Blood Save Life”. With this theme, the 17 KKN UNS group hopes to be able to convey the purpose of carrying out this activity.

In the implementation process, this activity cooperates with the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) of Sragen Regency to help carry out blood donation activities. Therefore, this activity received a good response from the people of Pendem Village, Mojogedang, Sragen.

The community welcomed this activity by showing their enthusiasm for blood donation activities. This is evident from the active participation of the community in this activity.

When interviewed by the fkip.uns.ac.id team, Endah as a member of group 17, the Biology Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) UNS, said that this group had high hopes that this activity would become a routine agenda carried out by the parties. village or local village youth organization.

“From the blood donation activities that are carried out, hopefully, it can become a good habit, making people not afraid of blood donation, and hopefully this activity can be continued regularly. It is scheduled by the village or local village youth organizations,” Endah explained on Sunday, (27/2/2022).
