FKIP – Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta students who are members of the Real Work Lecture Group (KKN) 119 carried out KKN activities in Ngromo Village, Nawangan District, Pacitan Regency. This activity was chaired by Alfan Muhyar Faza, Regional Literature Student FIB UNS 2018, and guided by Prof. Dr. Ir. Supriyadi, MP, as the field supervisor.
In this KKN activity, the work program carried out is themed on formal and informal school education. The series of work programs were carried out at SDN 1 Ngromo, MI Ilman Nafi’ah, and Ngromo Village Hall, Pacitan. For work in formal schools, it is packed with fun teaching methods such as fun English, mural art, paper quilling skills. Meanwhile, informal activities in the form of macrame skills training and tote bag painting for junior high and high school education youth.
This work program is carried out to develop students’ interests and talents, improve students’ fine motor skills, and improve students’ skills in the field of handicrafts.
“With this KKN activity, the target to be achieved is to be able to advance or improve the quality of education. Furthermore, it can be a reference for entrepreneurship and hone the creativity of children’s skills in Ngromo Village,” explained Iktara, PSR FKIP UNS student, on the fkip.uns.ac.id team.

Iktara continued that this activity was very positive and also beneficial.
“This activity is to fill the youth’s free time after school. This is better than just playing on a smartphone. It is better to be directed to useful activities,” said Iktara.
Nursanti Binti Saleh, the team implementing the 119 KKN activities, also conveyed her impressions and feelings about participating in this KKN.
“The feeling and impression is very happy and happy because we can meet new people and atmosphere, plus our presence is welcomed by the community and related parties,” explained Nursanti on Monday (28/02/2022).
In addition, Lia, a student of SDN 1 Ngromo, also expressed her feelings following the series of activities held by UNS KKN students.
“Participating in this activity made us know the paper quilling skills of the KKN brothers, this activity was interesting and fun, after school we could practice it at home,” said Lia.
At the end of the presentation, also expressed hope for the implementation of this KKN activity.
“Hopefully the activities we do can be useful and improve the welfare of the community. In addition, hopefully, the quality of education in rural areas (Ngromo Village) will improve. Also, this activity can strengthen the ties of brotherhood between residents and the Ngromo Village apparatus,” concluded Iktara.
