FKIP – Real Work Lecture Group (KKN) 80 Sebelas Maret University ( UNS) Surakarta held socialization of milk marketing with techniques digital. This socialization activity was carried out offline in one of the houses of the residents of Dukuh Wangan, Banyuanyar Village, Kec. Ampel, Boyolali on (14/2/2022).

The socialization activity was attended by the Dukuh Wangan youth group, members of the Widodo 1 source farmer group, and 10 KKN students. The 10 students were Muhammad Asyam Bagus, Fachmika Pradita Putri, Muhammad Naufal Muslim, Mohamad Kelvin Widyantara, Muhammad Fadhel Hikam, Muhammad Zainal Arifin, Nira Yustika, Agung Wijaya, Jody Febryan Bagaskara, and Arfi Singgih Prasojo.

According to Mohamad Kelvin Widyantara, one of the members of the UNS 80 KKN group, this socialization activity aims to make dairy SMEs owned by local farmer groups have additional knowledge about milk marketing strategies with digital techniques.

This work program is carried out in the form of socialization with 5 materials presented, namely SWOT analysis, product diversification, labeling, organizational management, and marketing through social media. After the socialization, the activity continued with the practice of taking product photos.

“There are 5 sub-materials that we convey, the first is a SWOT analysis based on existing dairy MSME products. Then the diversification of dairy products that we have done previously. The third is the importance of labeling a product. Fourth is organizational management and the fifth is several places or social media accounts that we can inform for existing MSMEs,” he explained.

Kelvin admitted that previously the UNS 80 KKN group had branded one of the milk production houses, namely cowboy milk. The forms of branding include painting the cowboy milk house building and creating Instagram reels content to be shared with several media accounts in Boyolali.

“Previously we also made efforts to brand this cowboy milk house by painting the cowboy house. The second is to make Instagram reels which can later be uploaded to their social media accounts and distributed to several social media accounts in Boyolali,” he said.

Kelvin hopes that with the implementation of this work program, all elements of society in Sumber Widodo farmer village can manage social media well for marketing their potential products.

“Our hope in the future is that Sumber Widodo 1 farming village can manage its social media well, especially for marketing the dairy products they make. Then for the youth to develop the potential that exists in their respective hamlets,” said Kelvin to the FKIP team. uns.ac.id Friday (4/3/2022)
