FKIP – The Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta also enlivened the 46th UNS Anniversary because FKIP held a tennis match event. The event lasted for two days on Wednesday-Thursday (9-10/3/2022) at the Gelora Campus Merdeka FKIP UNS.

This event was attended by eight former majors at FKIP. They are the Natural Sciences Education Study Program Team (IPA), Social Science Education Team (IPS), Language and Literature Education Team (PBS) A, PBS Team B, Elementary School Teacher Education Team (PGSD) A, Team PGSD B, Team Dean, and Team United. A total of 47 participants.

On the first day, the match was held to select the team that qualified on the second day. On Thursday (10/3/2022), a final event was held to determine the winner in the tennis match at FKIP. The match took place in an orderly manner.

On the second day, the final match was held. In this session, there were four teams that made it into the final round. They were the PBS A-Team, the Social Sciences Education Team, the Dean, and the PGSD A. The match was carried out in a supportive manner like the previous day.

Until the final result was obtained the winner in the tennis match at FKIP. The first position was won by the PGSD Team A. The second place was occupied by the Dean Team. Meanwhile, the third winner was the PBS A-Team, and the fourth winner was the Social Studies Education Team.

On the occasion of the welcome Prof. Slamet Subiyantoro, M.Sc., Deputy for Academic, Research, and Student Affairs as the Head of the 46th UNS Anniversary Activity FKIP UNS said that this activity was not only a competition event, but also a gathering place because from this activity everyone could gather, there is a meaning of togetherness, as the glue of brotherhood, all are equal to honing, nurturing, and loving each other.

Furthermore, Prof. Slamet Subiyantoro also appreciated the ongoing activities.

“Allow us on behalf of the leadership to express our gratitude and appreciation. I thank you for coloring and enlivening and for creating a great atmosphere. We have become a big family of FKIP to support the UNS Anniversary agenda. FKIP is good, UNS can do it!” said Prof. good luck.

Fajar Danur Isnantyo, S.T., M.Sc. as a team from PGSD that won this match, felt happy for the achievements that he achieved.

“Alhamdulillah, we were finally able to win first place, even though in the final the opponent was quite tough. Alhamdulillah, we can achieve victory over our cohesiveness. Of course, feel happy,” he explained.

Furthermore, according to Fajar, with physical health, achievement can also increase.

“This tennis match is an opportunity for friendship. With physical health, God willing, achievement will also increase,” said Fajar.
