FKIP – The Javanese Language Education Study Program Student Association (HMP Wibawa) Teacher Training and Education Faculty (FKIP) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta held foods sharing activities in the month of Ramadan on Saturday (16/4/2022).

These foods sharing activity in the month of Ramadan was carried out at the Pucang Sawit red light intersection. This was conveyed by Muhammad Iqbal Ramadhan as Chairman of the HMP Wibawa.

“The location is at the Pucang Sawit red light intersection, from the UNS campus to the west for 1 km,” said Iqbal when interviewed by the fkip.uns.ac.id team on Sunday (4/24/2022).

In its implementation, food was distributed to motorists or pedestrians who pass the Pucang Sawit red light.

The purpose of this activity is to foster a sense of sharing, togetherness, mutual cooperation, and active participation.

“The aim is to foster a sense of sharing among the members of HMP Wibawa, especially the main administrators during the blessed holy month, foster a sense of togetherness, mutual cooperation, and also actively participate in serving the community,” said Iqbal.

The purpose of this activity is realized by the contributions given by the members of HMP Wibawa voluntarily as a source of distributed food funds.

“Alhamdulillah, we got the funds for the foods from the internal management of HMP Wibawa itself. So, between the administrators of the Wibawa HMP, the fees are for sharing foods and breaking the fast together, so we don’t open donations,” explained Iqbal.

From the funds collected 80 packs of food can be bought. This amount exceeds the specified target, which is 50 packs.

“From us, we distributed 80 foods packs, the initial target was only 50 foods,” said Iqbal.

Ending the interview, Iqbal expressed the hope that he wanted to be achieved with the implementation of food sharing activities during this month of Ramadan.

“Hopefully holding this activity, may we all achieve blessings in this holy month of Ramadan. The sharing of foods, hopefully, can foster mutual sharing, respect, tolerance, and the spirit of mutual cooperation in advancing and developing HMP Wibawa within the management members of HMP Wibawa. Hopefully, in the future, HMP Wibawa will be more advanced and actively participate in community service,” Iqbal concluded.
