FKIP – Natural Sciences Education Study Program (IPA) Teacher Training and Education Faculty (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta welcomes new students (Samaru) Science Education FKIP UNS. The event to welcome new students through the 2022 State University Entrance National Selection (SNMPTN) was held online through a Zoom Meeting on Saturday (9/4/2022).

The event which is the work program of the cadre division of the Science Education Student Association (Himadikpa) aims to welcome new students on the SNMPTN pathway to get to know the Science Education Study Program and FKIP UNS.

“This event is to welcome new students, especially from the SNMPTN pathway to get to know the Science Education Study Program, and introduce how and what FKIP UNS is like,” explained Idfit Tri Iqbal as Chairman of Himadikpa when contacted by the fkip.uns.ac.id team.

The activity, which was attended by Himadikpa’s daily management and all new students of the SNMPTN 2022 Science Education Study Program, was filled with various events. Meanwhile, the event included the general chairman’s remarks, introduction of new students, introduction of study programs through videos, and questions and answers about study programs.

“Our activity began with a welcome from me as the General Chair of Himadikpa, then continued with the introduction of each new student of Science Education, then introduced the Science Education Study Program through a video introduction of the study program, and there was a question and answer program from new students about the Science Education Study Program,” he explained.

Iqbal hopes that with this welcome, apart from getting to know each other, it will also create a solid and harmonious relationship between new students and the study program they are aiming for.

“My hope is that there will be a solid and harmonious relationship between new students and the Science Education Study Program, especially with Himadikpa himself as the organizer of the event. Then, I hope that new students can get to know the study program they are going to so far, then my hope is for new students on the SNMPTN pathway can get to know each other better even though we haven’t been able to meet in person,” he hoped.
