FKIP – Students of the Natural Sciences Education Study Program (IPA) Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta who are members of the Free Teaching Assistance Program Team Learning Merdeka Campus (MBKM) Lentera Sanjaya won 1st place in the National Level MBKM Product Competition held by the Academic, Research, and Student Affairs of FKIP UNS. They are Novelina Andika Kusuma, Fatimah Nur Azizah, Risia Hanifa Ramadhani, Ellis Octavia, and Juwita Rismadewi.
Announced on Monday (2/5/2022) online through the Youtube Channel of the FKIP UNS Achievement Center, they also won the Best Teaching Assistance Video Category in the competition. The video that they stretch is a snippet of their activities during the MBKM Program from September to December 2021 at SMP Negeri 4 Surakarta.
To the journalist team at fkip.uns.ac.id, Novelina conveyed her impression after her team was declared successful in winning this competition. Furthermore, he also explained his motivation for participating in this competition.
“Alhamdulillah, we are certainly very happy and grateful to win this MBKM Product Video Competition. Initially, I saw from one of the posts on Instagram @uns.official that FKIP UNS was holding this competition and I was interested in participating, then I invited MBKM friends who live in Solo to join and represent the Sanjaya Lentera Team. In addition to seeking new experiences, we can also capture moments during the Teaching Assistance MBKM Program at SMP Negeri 4 Surakarta,” explained Novelina, Monday (9/5/2022).
Novelina explained that the video depicted the process they went through while participating in the Teaching Assistance MBKM Program. The video shows their process starting from their background, preparation of proposals, to expectations of the implementation of their program.
“In the video we made, we wanted to highlight the process we went through in joining the Teaching Assistance MBKM program. Therefore, in the video it is shown starting from our background in participating in the Teaching Assistance MBKM program, our process of preparing proposals, how it is implemented in schools, the superior products we make, to our expectations from this Teaching Assistance MBKM activity for the wider community, “explained Novelina.
Novelina and the team hope that the videos they put out can inspire other students to join the MBKM program, especially Teaching Assistance because they have gained a lot of experience. One of them is to be able to know firsthand how the teaching and learning process in schools.
At the end of the interview, Novelina advised that students should make the best use of their time. He also invites us to explore many things by participating in positive activities.
“When we are allowed to study, we make the best use of that time. Let’s increase our enthusiasm to continue to learn and explore many things by participating in positive activities that are beneficial for the people around us. This achievement is a bonus from our learning process while we are students,” concluded Novelina.
