FKIP – Proud news came from Pekalongan City, which is the venue for the 2022 Central Java Language Ambassador Selection Final. In the event, Rama Aji Dananto, Student of the Undergradute Study Program of Indonesian Language and Literature Education (PBSI) Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Education Sciences (FKIP) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta has been named the Favorite Winner of the 2022 Central Java Language Ambassador Selection.

The Great Final for the Selection of the Central Java Language Ambassador for 2022 was held by the Central Java Provincial Language Center under the auspices of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) on Friday-Sunday (27-29/6/2022) at Pekalongan University. This event is expected to attract young people in Central Java who are able to contribute to the development and development of the Indonesian language.

This activity is carried out under a quarantine system. There were ten pairs of Language Ambassador finalists who had been selected from previous selections. The selected ambassadors have the opportunity to become partners of the Central Java Provincial Language Center in prioritizing the Indonesian language in the public sphere.

Contacted by the Fkip.uns.ac.id Journalist Team, Friday (3/6/2022), Rama expressed his feelings when he was declared the Favorite Winner of the 2022 Central Java Language Ambassador Selection. He felt grateful and proud of the results he got.

“Obviously I’m grateful for this result. When it was announced as the Favorite Winner of the 2022 Central Java Language Ambassador Selection, I had mixed feelings, there was a sense of pride, surprise, and emotion. For me, this event is very useful to gain experience, hone skills, and try to get out of my comfort zone,” said Rama.

Furthermore, he also said that this result will be used as a reference to continue and develop the craft that has been made so that it can be useful for the surrounding environment.

“In the future, I want to continue to hone my potential by participating in positive activities. I will use this result as a reference for me to continue and develop the krida that I have made. The hope is of course that it can be useful for the surrounding environment,” said Rama.

At the end of the interview, Rama asked the students to show their best version. According to him, the biggest opponent in achieving dreams is yourself.

“The biggest opponent in achieving your dreams is yourself. Therefore, show the best version of yourself. Showing the best version of ourselves is proof that we can overcome our inner fears,” said Rama.

Before getting the title of Favorite Winner for the Selection of the 2022 Central Java Language Ambassador, Rama also managed to become a Finalist Mas and Mbak Sukoharjo Regency Tourism Ambassador 2021.
