FKIP – Students of the Physics Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta managed to get 1st Place in Physics in the Rector’s Cup IV Event. She is Mira Ayu Rahmawati.

Rector Cup IV is a forum to recruit and prepare UNS delegates in the 2022 National Student and Natural Sciences Competition (KN-MIPA) held by the Ministry of Education, Research Culture, and Technology (Kemdikbudristek). There are four fields of competition that are contested in this event, namely Mathematics, Biology, Physics and Chemistry.

Registration for the Rector Cup IV is open from February 1-14, 2022. After registration, there is an initial selection process to recruit seven students per field of competition. Announced on Monday (4/4/2022) through the @knmipauns Instagram account, Mira managed to get 1st Place in Physics.

When contacted by the Fkip.uns.ac.id Journalist Team, Friday (3/6/2022), Mira said that she was grateful and happy for her achievements. He added that this achievement will be used as a race to study physics.

“Alhamdulillah, I am very grateful and happy with the results I got in this Rector Cup IV event. I will use this result as a race to be more enthusiastic about studying physics,” said Mira.

Furthermore, Mira shared her experience while preparing to take part in a series of Rector Cup IV selections. He said three ways he did as preparation, namely studying questions from the previous year, studying with seniors who were experienced, and praying.

“I received information about the Rector’s Cup IV competition through the @knmipauns Instagram account. I always update the information through the account. As preparation for the selection stage, I studied the previous year’s questions, studied with seniors who had experience in the competition, and prayed a lot,” said Mira.

At the end of the interview, Mira advised us to keep our spirits up and not give up easily with what we are going through. According to him, the opportunity to be a winner will be there as long as you want to try.

“Enjoy and don’t give up easily. Every new thing that we live is difficult and the things we often go through are not necessarily easy either. Believe and believe that the opportunity to win will always be there as long as we try, “said Mira.

Previously, Mira also managed to win in several competitions she participated in. These include the 2nd place in the Physics Olympiad at the University of Muhamadiyah Metro 2020 and the Silver Medal at the 2022 POSI Physics Olympiad.
