FKIP – Student Association for Special Education Study Programs (Spedu) Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta organizes a welcome for new students (Samaru ) SNMPTN (National Selection for State Universities Entrance) in 2022 on Saturday (11/6/2022). Conducted online, via zoom meeting.

Samaru was attended by new students of the Special Education Study Program who were accepted through the 2022 SNMPTN pathway and the administrators of the Special Education Study Program Student Association (Spedu UNS).

Carrying the jargon “We Are Different, We Are United, We Are Strong!”, the participants enthusiastically welcomed the activity. This was stated by Apta Adiatma the head of the UNS Spedu. He said that if the participants were active and enjoyed in participating in the activities.

“The response of new students about the activities is very exciting and very active, friends also enjoy this SNMPTN samaru activity,” said Apta when interviewed by the fkip.uns.ac.id team on Sunday (12/6/2022).

The Samaru activity was held to introduce the world of lectures to new students of the Special Education Study Program.

“The purpose of holding Samaru is to introduce lectures, HMP, and life on campus,” said Apta.

Samaru activities are filled with a series of activities, including material on lectures to the introduction of the Study Program Student Association (HMP).

“The series of activities started from the opening, remarks from the head of the HMP, material about lectures, games, material about HMP, questions, and answers, and closing,” said Apta.

In the end, Apta expressed hope that it was aimed at new students who were declared accepted by the SNMPTN pathway. He hopes that new students will feel welcome at FKIP UNS Special Education and become aware of the world of lectures.

“Hopefully, new student friends feel welcomed and can find out how online and offline lectures take and know what HMP is and its activities,” concluded Apta.
