FKIP – Surakarta, 13 July 2022, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta in the Natural Sciences Education (IPA) Study Program which is a member of the Research Group Innovation in Science Classroom (ISC) S1 Science Education FKIP Sebelas Maret University Surakarta has implemented a Community Service Program as an activity of the UNS Research Group Grant (PKM-HGR) Community Service Program in 2022 on 11-13 July 2022 at SMP N 2 Surakarta with 57 participants teachers of all subjects.

This activity is a form of Community Service with the title Empowering Teacher Skills in STEM-based Multimodel Learning Management.

The Research Group (PKM-HGR) Innovation in Science Classroom (ISC) consists of lecturers S1 Science Education FKIP Sebelas Maret University Surakarta, namely Dr.paed. Nurma Yunita Indriyanti, S.Pd., M.Si., M.Sc.; Dr. Budi Utami, S.Pd., M.Pd.; Dr. Riezky Maya Probosari, S.Si., M.Si.; Isma Aziz Fakhrudin, S.Pd.,M.Pd, and Annisa Nur Khasanah, S.Pd., M.Pd.

As for the location of SMP Negeri 2 Surakarta, located on Jalan Apel number 3, Jajar, Laweyan District, Surakarta, Central Java, it is a Driving School and accreditation A led by Mr. Supono, S.Pd., M.Pd.

In the Community Service activities, in addition to socialization and providing material on STEM-based multimodel learning management (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), assistance was also carried out, including empowerment of STEM-based multimodel learning management, empowerment of teacher skills in STEM-based multimodel learning management and evaluation of activities and reflections.

During the activity, all participating teachers listened enthusiastically and discussed applying STEM-based Multimodel Learning (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) in each subject, as well as compiling an assessment of the performance of student project assignments following the Pancasila Youth Profile, namely having faith in God Almighty, and having a noble character, Global Diversity, Mutual Cooperation, Independent, Critical Reasoning, Creative.
