FKIP – The Student Community of Mechanical Engineering Education (Compression) Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta held Autocad and Solid Work 2022 Training activities. Autocad and Solid Work 2022 training was held in two rooms, namely the Computer Lab Building B and Classroom for Mechanical Engineering Education (PTM) 4th floor Building A Campus 5 JPTK FKIP UNS on Monday–Friday (25–29/7/2022).
Yuslim Adi the chairman of the committee said that the training with the theme “Computer Aided Design Training: Autodesk and Solidwork Proficient in Drawing Engineering with Software” has the aim and purpose to provide students with supplies and forums in the fields of Autocad and Solid Work.
“Providing provisions for Mechanical Engineering Education students batch 2021 and also the general public regarding Autocad and Solid Work, increasing the existence of the Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program, and providing a forum for students and the public to channel their abilities in the Autocad and Solid Work fields,” said Yuslim when interviewed by the team. fkip.uns.ac.id on Wednesday (27/7/2022).

This training consists of several series of events that are carried out for five days, namely Autocad training which is carried out on the first three days by presenting Yusron Nur Faizal who is an alumnus of PTM Study Program students batch 2017 as the first presenter. Furthermore, the Solid Work training was carried out on the last two days by presenting Rohmat, an alumnus of the 2016 PTM Study Program, as the second speaker. On the last day of the training, awards were also given to participants in several categories prepared by the committee.
He said that the scope of participants in this training were students of the 2021 PTM Study Program and also the general public who were interested. Meanwhile, after the closing of registration, 56 participants registered.
“The target participants of this training activity are students of Mechanical Engineering Education class of 2021 and also the general public who are interested. The Autocad and Solid Work 2022 training was carried out with 56 participants who registered,” he said.
Yuslim Adi admitted that this training gave a positive impression and message to the participants because they gained new knowledge about Autocad.
“The Autocad and Solid Work 2022 training also gave a good impression to the participants, judging from the responses given by the participants through the Google Attendance Form, it can be seen that many participants gave a positive response about this training. Many of the trainees received new knowledge that they had not previously never found about Autocad,” he said.
