FKIP – Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Universitas Seblas Maret (UNS) Surakarta in this case the Physics Education Study Program received a visit from the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Jember University in the Hall of Building G Postgraduate FKIP UNS on Monday, (18/7/2022). This event was welcomed and attended by the leadership, head of the Physics Education Study Program, lecturers, and staff from FKIP UNS and FKIP Jember University.

This visit from FKIP Jember University intends to discuss and get to know the management governance of FKIP UNS.

Dr. Mardiyana, M.Si, as the Dean of the Teaching Faculty of Education (FKIP) UNS in this case represented by Dr. Djono, M.Pd., as Deputy Dean for Planning, Business, Cooperation, and Information said that FKIP UNS has several campuses including Kentingan Campus, Pabelan Campus, Kleco Campus, Ngoresan Campus, and Kebumen Campus. FKIP UNS has 48 Study Programs, consisting of 27 Undergraduate Study Programs, of which the Educational Technology Study Program is a new study program that was opened this year, 17 Masters Study Programs, 5 Doctoral Study Programs, and the Teacher Professional Education Study Program (PPG).

Dr. Djono also said that the Study Program at FKIP UNS has received several superior accreditations, and has carried out international accreditation. “This year there are Economic Education Study Programs, Indonesian Education, Informatics Engineering Education Study Programs, Chemistry Education Study Programs and physics education Study Programs themselves have also carried out ASIIN international accreditation, indeed from the Dean and We are concerned that in 2023 all undergraduate study programs have been internationally accredited so that we can also apply for superior accreditation to all undergraduate study programs,” added Dr. Djono.

Furthermore, Dr. Djono in the closing opportunity expressed his gratitude and hoped that the joint discussion event could exchange experiences and benefit each of them and could continue the level of cooperation between FKIP UNS and FKIP Jember University.

Deputy Dean III of FKIP Jember University Dr. Muhammad Na’im, M. Pd said that choosing to come to UNS, especially FKIP UNS, in addition to being a short distance, that uns has become a university that excels at the national and international levels.

“In addition, we also see that the Physics Education Study Program has carried out ASIIN International Accreditation, so it makes us even more eager to come to FKIP UNS,” added Dr. Muhammad Na’im

Furthermore, Dr. Muhammad Na’im, M. Pd., also added that the purpose and purpose of coming to UNS, especially FKIP UNS, is to discuss and want to know the management governance of FKIP UNS, especially for the Physics Education Study Program. One of them is how to prepare for International accreditation.

The event continued with a discussion between FKIP UNS and FKIP Jember University which was led directly by the Head of the Physics Education Study Program of FKIP UNS Dr. Sri Budiawanti, S.Si., M.Si.
