Moderated by Irawan Afu as a student of the Building Engineering Education Study Program (PTB) FKIP UNS, this guest lecturer presented as a resource person. The resource persons are Ir. Dono Prasojo. He is the Project Manager for the UNS Ki Hajar Dewantara Tower Construction in 2021. In his presentation, he presented a material entitled “History 11-7”.

In the material, he explained the things that must be considered in working on a project, project management organizational structure, documents in a project, items in a development project, and their main tasks and functions, Ir. Dono explained that there are four things that must be considered in working on a project.

“In working on a development project, we must pay attention to four things. The four things are time, cost, quality, and service. Every time we work on a project, we will be asked to make the cost according to the plan, the time, and the quality according to the plan. If the time is not according to the plan, the costs will swell. If the costs are not as planned, the quality will decrease. All of that will be connected, “explained Ir. Dono.

Furthermore, Ir. Dono also describes the three major items of work in a project. The three items are planning, constructing, and controlling.

“In a project, we are broadly divided into three major work items. The first item is planning or commonly called the engineering team. The second is constructing or operations team. The last one is controlling which can be done by the engineering team as well as the operations team,” explained Ir. Dono.
