FKIP – Vice Dean for Planning, Cooperation, Business, and Information, Dr. Djono, M.Pd gave material on Planning, Cooperation, Business, and Information in the Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB) Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta. This activity was held in the Hall of Building F FKIP UNS and broadcast through the SEMAR TV Youtube channel on Sunday (14/8/2022).

In this activity, Dr. Djono conveyed in detail the fields of Planning, Cooperation, Business, and Information at FKIP UNS which were explained one by one.

The first discussion is the planning area, whose task is to prepare the Faculty’s Annual Budget Activity Plan (RKAT) and coordinate activities and budgets in one fiscal year the following year. This field coordinates with the Head of Study Programs and units, Deputy Dean 1, Deputy Dean 2, Sub. Administrative Coordinator, Sub. Academic Coordinator and Sub. Non-Academic Coordinator, and the Renbang Team to make it a success.

“The success of a job will certainly be largely determined by good planning, therefore, planning bears the risk of how to design activities and budget finances at FKIP in the future. Therefore, in our work, we are not alone, we coordinate to prepare budgets and activities in every aspect of the academic system at FKIP,” he explained.

Then the field of cooperation, this field is carried out based on profit and academic interests. Cooperation is divided into two, namely domestic and foreign cooperation. Domestic work is assisted by the Faculty Business Management Agency (BPUF) to cooperate with government institutions, the business world, and companies. Meanwhile, foreign cooperation is assisted by the International Office (IO), examples of activities such as student exchanges, lecturer exchanges, research collaborations, journal articles, and so on.

“This collaboration, we carry out cooperation both profit-based or income-based as well as cooperation for the benefit of academic activities, such as MBKM,” he explained.

The next field is business, according to Dr. Djono’s field of business is conducting business activities, seeking income generating or additional income to support institutional operations. He said that FKIP UNS had pioneered its activities, namely encouraging business-based study programs and providing business opportunities for students.

Lastly is the field of information, Dr. Djono said that this field is still under the arrangement. He said that the faculties and universities are working to improve infrastructure on the web and its supporting facilities to be integrated. He hopes that the integration of this information system will make it easier for all stakeholders to access what is in FKIP.

“This information is still under the arrangement, our task at the faculty is to synergize integrated information systems and collaborate with universities, and this university is working on improving infrastructure for the web and digital information system facilities that will integrate the existing system. So it’s not partial. like now, so God willing, it will be integrated into our information system,” he said.
