FKIP – Deputy Dean for Human Resources, Finance, and Logistics provides material on the Introduction to Campus Life for Students New (PKKMB) Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta 2022. This activity is carried out regularly offline at FKIP UNS Building F, Postgraduate G Building, UNS Student Center, and online via the SEMAR TV YouTube channel on Sunday (14/8/2022).

In this activity, Dr. Dewi Kusuma Wardani, M.Sc. as the Deputy Dean for Human Resources, Finance, and Logistics, conveyed in detail the material regarding the human resources of the faculty consisting of lecturers and staff, submission of activity budgets, existing infrastructure facilities within the faculty and university, as well as scholarships.

Dr. Dewi started her presentation by explaining that FKIP UNS is the largest faculty in UNS. So the need for lecturers and education staff is quite a lot.

“FKIP is the largest faculty in UNS because there are 49 study programs (Prodi). So that our strength for human resources for educators or lecturers requires qualified academic qualifications. Lecturers with 187 master’s qualifications, 197 doctoral degrees, and 30 professors. Alhamdulillah, the percentage of lecturers with doctoral or doctoral qualifications is 51.3% above the UNS target of 50%,” he explained.

Dr. Dewi also explained the classification of education personnel within the scope of FKIP UNS and the development of human resources for employees.

“Of course, we are trying to develop human resources, both educators (lecturers) and education staff. So, the first course is further study. Alhamdulillah for the percentage of lecturers who have academic qualifications S3 is quite good. For educational staff, we allow if you want to continue your studies to add qualifications. Then, the second is training. Third, competency tests for lecturers and staff. Fourth, for lecturers, it is how to accelerate functional positions and ranks. Fifth, for tendons, namely how to add tendons with certain functional positions, “said Dr. Goddess.

Furthermore, about finance, Dr. Dewi explained the mechanism for submitting student activities and budgets through Sireva (Budget Planning and Evaluation System).

“For the students of the Study Program Student Association (HMP) and the Student Activity Unit (UKM), there is a special allocation to facilitate activities. What is the amount and so on, there is already a distribution from planning and academics. The role of field 2 in this case is to process activity submissions and activity budgets. The mechanism for submitting activities and budgets consisting of five stages can be viewed in full on the Sireva website,” he said.

Then, related to logistics, Dr. Dewi conveyed the facilities and infrastructure in the UNS FKIP environment and UNS itself.
“Twenty percent of UNS students are in FKIP. The range of eight thousand to nine thousand FKIP UNS students from S1 to S3 levels are spread over 5 locations. The main thing is on the Kentingan Campus which consists of buildings A – building F. The others are in Kebumen, Kleco, Pabelan, and Nukiran, “explained Dr. Goddess.

In the end, Dr. Dewi explained the scholarships available at FKIP UNS which consisted of Bidikmisi, PPA, Superior Scholarship, and Pembangunan Jaya. He explained in detail the requirements of each scholarship.
