HUMAS FKIP – Accounting Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta held a National Seminar and
Call for Paper 2022 online via Zoom Meeting on Saturday (20/8/2022).
The seminar was opened with remarks by the Head of the Accounting Education Study Program, FKIP
UNS, Dr. Sri Sumaryanti, S.Pd., M.Pd.
“As we know that the purpose of Indonesian education is to educate the nation’s life which not only creates students who have complete personalities but also has complete competencies. At this time, the structure at the SMK level has undergone many
changes so that we as people who play a role in the field of education must always follow the developments of the era,” said Sr. Sumaryanti in her speech.

The theme of this seminar is “Implementation of Free Learning”. The seminar was moderated by Jaryanto, S.Pd., M.Sc.
The first speaker was Baskoro Hadi, SE, M.Pd. He explained the material entitled “Implementation of the Independent Curriculum”.
The presentation begins with a discussion of the structure of the curriculum.

“The basic structure of the 2013 curriculum is the Minister of Education Regulation Number 07/D.D5/KK/2018. Meanwhile, the independent curriculum is based on the Minister of Education Regulation No. 262/M/2022,” explained Baskoro.
Next, Baskoro discussed lesson planning in the independent curriculum, which included learning outcomes, learning objectives, and teaching modules.
The second resource person is Dr. Leny Noviani, M.Sc., a lecturer in Economics Education FKIP UNS.
Dr. Leny presented the material with the title “Best Kurma: Educational Talks for Friends of Accounting Education Independent Curriculum”.
“The difference between the 2013 curriculum and the independent curriculum can be seen from the competence, character development, learning principles, lesson planning, and assessment,” said Dr. Leny.
The independent curriculum orientation delivered by Dr. Leny consists of 3 characteristics, namely simplification of content, and focusing on essential material. Second, project-based learning is collaborative, applicable, and cross-subject. Next, the formulation of learning outcomes and setting lesson hours that provide flexibility to design operational and learning curricula according to the ability level of students.
Next, Dr. Leny explained differentiated learning.
“Differentiated learning is learning that accommodates, serves, and recognizes the diversity of students in learning according to student’s readiness, interests, and learning
preferences,” he explained.
The seminar ended with a question and answer session with resource persons and a closing statement from one of the speakers, namely Dr. Leny.
“Quality learning and assessment is the key to quality education,” concluded Dr. Leny.
