HUMAS FKIP – The Islamic Activity Center (SKI) of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta held a Muslim Entrepreneurship Seminar 2022 on Saturday (24/9/2022). Carrying the theme “Digital Marketing for Star-Ups by Instilling Islamic Values”, the seminar was held online through the Zoom Meeting application.
The seminar began with remarks by the General Chairperson of SKI FKIP UNS, Andika Satria Yoga Suharno. In his remarks, he hoped that this activity would provide participants with an understanding of entrepreneurship by applying Islamic values.
“We hope that this activity can provide us with an understanding of the world of entrepreneurship. Hopefully, by participating in this activity, we will understand how to do entrepreneurship by applying Islamic principles as exemplified by Uthman bin Affan, who became the richest entrepreneur but still upholds Islamic values,” hoped Andika.
Moderated by Ferri Tri Anggoro as the General Chair of the Student Activity Unit (UKM) of the Qur’anic Sciences (IQ) UNS, this activity presented a resource person. The resource person is Akh Rahman. He is a digital creator and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) @marketingkankebaikan. He started his presentation, by explaining the importance of collaboration in the world of entrepreneurship.
“Being a digital marketer is not enough, but you must also become a digital creator. Why is this important? Because at this time the shift in the world of digital marketing is very fast. There are several things that we have to adjust, one of which is collaborating with other digital creators because they already have names and communities. That’s what will help our business to grow, “explained Akhi.

Furthermore, he explained business conditions in the pandemic era, statistics on the use of social media in Indonesia, the definition of digital marketing, types of digital marketing, digital marketing keys, how to create interesting content, to how to design lead magnets. According to him, three things must be considered to create interesting content.
“There are three things that must be considered in creating content, namely personal branding, knowledge and awareness, and interaction and action. Personal branding includes values, strengths and uniqueness, achievements, and self-promotion. Knowledge and awareness by creating content that contains elements of benefits, features, and benefits. Meanwhile, interaction and action are carried out by strengthening engagement and inviting the audience to take action,” explained Akhi.
The activity was followed by a question-and-answer discussion session guided by the moderator. Then, the activity ended with joint documentation.
