FKIP – The Student Affairs Unit of the Teaching and Education Faculty (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta held a Series 1 Entrepreneurship Workshop with the theme “Strategy for Designing and Developing Student Entrepreneurship in the Digital Age: Implementation of the Proposed New Student Entrepreneurship Program” on Monday ( 27/6/2022). The workshop was held online through the Zoom Meeting application.
The New Student Entrepreneurship Program (Wibawa) is a manifestation of UNS’ commitment to supporting the strengthening of the Indonesian economy by creating young entrepreneurial human resources, growing, accommodating, and realizing student business ideas. The WIBAWA program is an implementation of the Tri Darma of Higher Education in achieving
university’s main performance indicator (IKU) targets and supports the Student Management Rating System (Simkatmawa).
Through the Wibawa program, students have the opportunity to improve their skills and competencies in creating and developing businesses. By participating in Wibawa, students also have the opportunity to take part in the Independent Campus Learning Program
(MBKM) for entrepreneurship in tertiary institutions.
This workshop has 4 objectives. The four goals are to foster entrepreneurial mental motivation among students, build an entrepreneurial mental attitude for students, improve students’ soft skills, especially in the sense of business, and encourage students to create new business units based on science, technology, and art by proposing the Authority
Program.
Moderated by Abdul Haris Setiawan, Ph.D. as Chair of the Series 1 Entrepreneurship Workshop Committee and the Student Affairs Unit Team of FKIP UNS, this activity presented 2 speakers.

The first resource person was Susantiningrum, S.Pd., SE, MAB who is the Head of the Center for Entrepreneurship Development (PPKwu) UNS. He explained the Strategy for Designing and Developing Student Entrepreneurship with an emphasis on proposing the UNS Authority Program.
In this material, he explained the importance of entrepreneurial skills, the criteria for proposing Wibawa, a series of Wibawa activities, to the strategy for becoming a winner of the Wibawa Program. He explained that entrepreneurial skills are important because all
fields require them.
“Why is it important to master entrepreneurial skills? Almost all fields of work require at least one indicator of entrepreneurial skills. At the managerial level, entrepreneurial skills are more needed than digital skills, explained Susantiningrum.
The second resource person is Antonius Irawan Eko S., SE. He is the Founder and CEO of Cipta Solutindo Tech. He presented material on strategies for designing and developing entrepreneurship in the digital era. At the beginning of his presentation, he explained how to start and develop a business in the digital era.
“To start and develop a business in the digital era, you can follow these steps, including exploring ideas and information and collecting data in various ways, both browsing, analyzing market trends, and continuous learning. Then, carry out promotions and
marketing through digital branding and digital marketing using social media, digital flyers, and digital advertising, in addition to using marketplace and _e-commerce
platforms._ Third, manage the business with good business management and apply for cashier programs, record keeping accounting, and stock management,” explained Antonius.
