FKIP — The Natural Science Education Student Association (HIMADIKPA) of the Teacher Training and Education Faculty (FKIP) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta held the Share Our Love to Another (ISOTON) IPA 2022 activity in Dukuh Kendal, Mojosongo, Surakarta. This activity will be held from Saturday (5/11/2022) to Saturday (3/12/2022).

Contacted by the fkip.uns.ac.id team on Sunday (27/11/2022), Mohamad Ismail as Chair of the ISOTON 2022 Committee stated the purpose of holding this activity. He said that this activity aims to increase awareness and closeness between students of the Science Education FKIP UNS Study Program and the community.

“ISOTON 2022 has a goal as a means to increase awareness and friendship between FKIP UNS Science Education students and the community. This activity is also a means of sharing for people in need, whether it’s groceries or knowledge,” said Ismail.

ISOTON 2022 consists of three series of events. The first series of events is HIMADIKPA Teaching (Pajar). The Pajar event was attended by 20 children from the Koran Education Park (TPA) in Dukuh Kendal, Mojosongo, Surakarta. This event was held in three activities. The first activity is reciting the Koran which will be held on November 5 and 19 2022. The second activity is teaching subjects which will be carried out on November 6 and 12 2022. Meanwhile, the third activity is batik which will be carried out on November 13 2022.

Furthermore, the second series of events is HIMADIKPA Sharing (Morning). This activity is an activity of distributing groceries and other necessities to five children with stunting in Dukuh Kendal, Mojosongo, Surakarta. Then, the third series of events is stunting socialization which will be attended by 30 residents of Hamlet Kendal, Mojosongo, Surakarta. Both series of events will be held on December 3.

On the same occasion, Ismail expressed his hopes for the implementation of ISOTON 2022 activities.

“We hope that the TPA children in Dukuh Kendal who have participated in the HIMADIKPA Teaching activities will remain enthusiastic in studying knowledge, continue to hone their skills and innovate, and be able to practice the social values ​​contained in this activity. We also hope that the stunted children in Dukuh Kendal will remain enthusiastic in their daily activities, hopefully their illnesses will be removed soon, and they will be given health. Then, residents in Dukuh Kendal who participate in stunting socialization activities will receive education on how to prevent stunting,” Ismail hoped.

Ismail also conveyed a message for students of the Science Education Study Program FKIP UNS who were directly involved in ISOTON activities to make this activity a starting point to intensify the implementation of community service activities and be consistent in carrying them out.

Finally, Ismail invited all students to carry out the Tri Darma of Higher Education, one of which is community service.

“We invite other students to hope that ISOTON 2022 can be a trigger to be even more active in carrying out community service activities because it is in accordance with the practice of the contents of the Tri Darma of Higher Education, one of which is community service,” said Ismail.
