FKIP – Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) University Eleven March (UNS) Surakarta officially signed a collaboration with the Education and Culture Office of Madiun Regency in the Study Program Outside the Main Campus (PSDKU) in the Master’s Study Program (S-2)of Education FKIP UNS on Tuesday (22/11/2022) at the UNS Madiun Campus.

This activity coincided with the Handover of the Madiun Regency Regional Asset Grant to UNS. The 34,175 m2 campus with 2 buildings and laboratory equipment which is currently used to support the learning process at PSDKU UNS is a regional asset owned by the Government of Madiun Regency. On this occasion, regional assets were officially donated to UNS to be fully used as educational support facilities at the UNS PSDKU Campus, Madiun Regency.

In his remarks, the Chancellor of UNS, Prof. Jamal Wiwoho said that in order to help accelerate the success of regional development, especially in the field of education, since 2013 UNS in collaboration with the Government of Madiun Regency has organized an Education Program Outside the Domicile (PPDD) for the Diploma 2 (D-2) education level.In its development, in 2020 PPDD changed its form to become a Study Program Outside the Main Campus (PSDKU). This program manages the Diploma 3 (D-3) program level and has just officially agreed to open a Masters in Education Program from FKIP UNS.

“Just now the Dean of FKIP UNS, Dr. Mardiyana, M.Sc., officially signed a cooperation with the Madiun Regency Education and Culture Office to optimize the use of the UNS Caruban Campus by opening further study programs, especially Masters in Education. There are 17 study programs, namely Masters in Science Education, Masters in Chemistry Education, Masters in Masters in Biology Education, Masters in Regional Language and Literature Education, Masters in Indonesian Language Education, Masters English Language Education, Masters in Economics Education, Masters in Geography Education, Masters in Elementary School Teacher Education, in Vocational Teacher Education, Masters in Special Education, Masters in Mathematics Education, Masters in Pancasila Education and Citizenship, Masters in History Education, Masters in Educational Technology, and Masters in Arts Education,” said Prof. Jamal.

Besides that, Prof. Jamal also expressed his gratitude for the extraordinary contribution and commitment of the Madiun Regency Government.

“We express our high appreciation and gratitude to the Madiun Regent and all his staff for their contribution and commitment to advancing the region, both developed in the field of education and improving quality human resources. So with that, we will continue to be committed to strengthening, advancing, and developing PSDKU UNS in Madiun Regency. This aims to help realize the achievement of regional development programs, especially in the field of education,” said Prof. Jamal.

At the end of the opening session, Prof. Jamal expressed his hope that UNS and Madiun Regency could collaborate and realize their best performance.

“We hope UNS and the Government Madiun Regency will continue to synergize and collaborate in contributing and realizing its best performance in the context of the success of regional and national development programs,” hoped Prof. Jamal. The

Regent of Madiun, H. Ahmad Dawami Ragil Saputro, S.Sos., said that on this occasion it would be carried out signing of cooperation between the Madiun Regency Education and Culture Office and the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) UNS

“On the occasion of handing over assets, a collaboration was also signed between the Madiun Regency Education and Culture Office and the UNS Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) The cooperation is in rank a program for optimizing the use of the UNS Caruban campus for the implementation of further master and doctoral studies. Apart from that, scholarships were also handed over to 10 students from Madiun who entered through the PMDK route in the form of exemption from Single Tuition or UKT fees from semesters 1 to 6,” said Ahmad.

At the end of his speech, the Regent of Madiun expressed his gratitude to UNS. He also hopes that the UNS Caruban Campus will become an extraordinary campus.

“We, the Government of Madiun Regency, thank UNS for preparing human resources to jointly develop Madiun. We hope that the UNS Caruban Campus will become an extraordinary campus,” added H. Ahmad.
