FKIP – The Student Executive Board (BEM) of the Faculty of Teaching and Education (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta held FKIP Berbagi Kasih with the theme Spread Kindness and Compassion. This activity was carried out at the Darul Falah Orphanage,
Grogol, Sukoharjo on Sunday (27/11/2022).
Puspita Anggraini as the chief executive said that this activity aims to share and provide enthusiasm for going to school to orphans.
“The goal is to share with their younger siblings, share stories and provide positive activities for them so that they can be more enthusiastic about school,” she said.
FKIP Berbagi Kasih is a work program from the Ministry of Social Affairs BEM FKIP UNS in collaboration with the Islamic Activity Center (SKI) Pabelan FKIP UNS to visit orphanages.
This activity was filled with greetings, games, tales about the prophet, and sharing prizes.
Puspita hopes that this activity can give enthusiasm and love to the orphanage children to go to school, and can become a gateway for donors to share.
“The hope is that from this event, younger siblings can be more enthusiastic about school, give a positive picture that there is someone who loves them besides the people closest to them, and hopefully with this event, there will be big donors who want to give something more to them. So, this event is a gateway for donors if they want to share at another time,” she hoped.
